If your renewal is imminent and you happen to have an Amex card, you can get £12 cashback on the price. You’ll need to enable the offer inside the Amex app, and use that card for the renewal.

How long until we get a new page, because every time I open this thread the first thing I see is the comment about Eretria's bottom, and it's distracting.

Futurama is coming back (again) www.polygon.com/23727568/futurama-season-11-hulu-release-dateThe last reboot was actually pretty good so I’m confident this one should be enjoyable too. But they’ve already given Fry and Leela multiple perfect show closing moments so I’m not sure how you reopen that in a satisfactory way again.

Yeah, sort that out. It's great Just don’t rent the copy I got from Blockbuster. That DVD was fucking ruined, kept skipping all over the show. Plus the Lamb and Mint Sensations aren’t available any more. But when you see a good copy, it is fantastic. So new monarch, Lamb and Mint sensations are back. Next monarch, can I say I miss the McRib or pizzas McDonalds used to do.

Disney+ is about to cut a load of tv content that you probably didn’t even realise it had, and Willow which you didn’t watch, from the platform. www.nme.com/news/tv/all-of-these-titles-removed-disney-plus-3445688I might be totally wrong but this feels like the first time they’ve done a big content cull. One of the strengths it had over Netflix and Prime was its permanence. Looks like its mostly Fox and Hulu stuff thats going.

It’s the first time they’ve removed stuff. At the moment there’s no sign of it appearing anywhere else.

It's a whole load of crap so I'm not particularly bothered.

Willow was obviously a big failure that they must be trying to bury but I’m surprised Pistol and that NatGeo Jeff Goldblum show are on the list they both got decent receptions and must have cost a decent amount.

I do understand why they probably do not do this, but it would be nice if these removals were somehow communicated in advance; unless I'm mistaken there's no way to know something will be removed at the moment...

I watched willow. It was rrrrrrrrubbish.
Not so rubbish it deserves being banished to the shadow realm for tax purposes, though.

Willow had potential. The sets and design were cool but the characters and dialogue was a mess and the plot was absolute tosh.

Is tax the only reason to remove stuff like this? I'd assume they only have to pay the creators based on views, and if no-one is watching it then it'd cost them nothing to keep it. All depends on the contract I guess.
I can't say I care about any of these in particular, but it's really annoying when shows just won't stay where you left them!

Different services that have different seasons. Watch 1 and 2 here, 3 is over there, 4 you have to YouTube/pirate and then 5 is back on the original service. Fucking annoying.

I’m not sure why willow was so rubbish but it was. I still haven’t watched the last episode. In theory it should have been perfect fantasy fodder for me. Even my 12 year old daughter didn’t like it and she will watch anything…
I don’t think it helped that the leads were all just horrible selfish people.

No there’s no tax write off from this as it’s already been out there. Might be residuals, might be they will license it somewhere else.

An inconsistent plot that made no sense + inability to write strong believable female lead characters without making them come across as complete aresholes. The last episode is awful, it's genuinely a better series if you don't watch it.

It was also tonally all over the place. Its a follow up to a movie only old people care about so its stuck with paying homage to legacy stuff, so they tried to modernise it by making it a YA show for some reason but the old world setting jarred massively with the entire cast carrying on like they were in Riverdale. And then after a fight with some orcs or something the credits roll and its a Sad Girl cover of Black Hole Sun.

Did it have an equivalent of Mad Mordigan and Sorcha, because they were by far the best thing about the original. Both the cool characters, and the fact that they clearly wanted to bang each other so much they practically burned through the screen.

Yeah. Their daughter and his former squire, although he is much older than her and she is gay, so none of the latter. They chose to have Madmartigan go missing on a wacky caper years previously rather than recast him, so daddy issues is like the ongoing d-plot.

For anybody with Lloyds, they're giving away 12 months Disney+ as part of their lifestyle benefits. Makes a change from Odeon tickets that I never actually used!
