bicycle question: for the velodrome events why don't they use recumbent designs? is it a "must look like a regular bicycle" rule? if so that ship has kinda sailed, they look like the hyper optimised engineering masterpieces they are, so far removed from "regular bicycle"

The UCI have rules on bike design, tube profiles etc, recumbants, fairings and so forth aren’t allowed. Greame Obree made a huge impact with his home built aero designs before the rules were tightenened. Current track bikes go up to the limit of the laws, they’d be ridable on the road but probably not ideal outdoors

Duplantis is too cool for school. They’re going to need a bigger frame soon; he’s nearly at the top.

Discovery coverage is excellent tbf. BBC are presumably a bit hamstrung on what they can show but bored of the talking.

App is sluggish as fuck through the Sky box, but the quality of everything we've watched so far has been excellent.

We seem to be on a run of missing Golds. Need Hodgkinson and the cyclists to sort this out. That was fun though. Sorted.

I've tried the phone casting but it's very confusing trying to navigate once you're in a stream.

Did the swedes just celebrate that by punching each other in the chest ? The man's out there trying to make contact with his home planet and that's what you're focusing on?
