I did get all the trophies in Playroom, and I am a collectible whore, so that sounds good. I’ll think I’ll still grab this at some point then. I’ve just been doing the speed run levels in Playroom and they’re good fun.

So is this game notably harder than the free one? I managed the levels that are considered harder no problem and I'm fucking terrible at games, if I can do it then anyone can!

The ‘To The Beat’ and ‘Shocking Behaviour’ levels are proving very difficult for me.

I rolled the credits and stopped. I think I had about 210(ish) bots found. Happy with that and mostly had a great time with it, which is just what I wanted from it.
8.5/9 out of 10 stuff for me. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

Bought this at launch and really enjoying it, 100% all the main 5 worlds and going through lost galaxy now, 266 bits so far.
Not bothered about all the playstation nostalgia, but still an amazing game. I actually preferred sackboy as a game.
Main points of criticism, other than looking for things there isn't really any challenge. They should have gave you 5 lives when starting each planet and then you should need to get to the exit to keep all you have collected. That would made you think a lot more.
Also, needs more challenge levels they were the highlight of the game. Hopefully the dlc will fix this.

The ‘To The Beat’ and ‘Shocking Behaviour’ levels are proving very difficult for me. Finally managed to beat them and get all the bots. I can start grumbling about the final challenge now.

Received a (still rare) 10 rating from Edge magazine Finished it last weekend and got the platinum, it's good but not a 10. Far too many points where you feel like it's just going through the motions with no real challenge. Last 10 for me would be lost crown, loved every second of that

That’s pretty normal for a family focused game though. Mario Odyssey and Sackboy Adventure being the two most recent that don’t offer challenge until the game is over. I think the challenge criticism is fair, but the obvious missing solution is to have more challenge-based levels post story. Though judging from the general criticism of how challenging a couple are in this, not sure you’ll see much love for it

I'm really looking forward to the DlC and timetrial mode.
The only part I have been back into post platinum is the challenge levels to see if I can find quicker ways of doing them

You people have it good, my sub copy of Edge often arrives on the week (or even day) next month's copy comes out!
Of course, me living in Greece is the reason why, but still...

I've made it to the credits. I have about 4 challenge levels to complete, including Splashing Sprint, Birdie Barrage, To the Beat. I've tried Splashing Sprint multiple times and cannot get past the moving flames. Despite watching multiple videos including one that suggests a short-cut by doing a carefully timed extended jump.
I will stick with it until the Lego Horizon game comes out.
Ohm, and I really enjoyed the Uncharted level and have never played an Uncharted game. I will have a look on the Playstation store.

Turns out I have 'Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection' from the PS4 Essentials when they were giving them away. The first game is great, but the series hits its stride from the second one. Edit:Apparently in The Nathan Drake Collection, they ironed out a few of the idiosyncrasies from the first game.

Beat it with like 3 bots left and a few puzzle pieces. Will wrap it all up tonight prob. Just a wonderful game, I'm glad not to have read up too much on the cameos because there were some there that got an actual "Is that??? It is!" response out of me. Loco Roco getting its own level actually got some emotion out of me, special game, now tempted to get the actual game here. . There's absolutely one cameo there that should be in the game given PS history, I have to imagine they'll be added later at some point. And if they really wanted to be bold with it, it would be it's own level with multiple bots to get and each area can be reminiscent of a few games in the series. If it were me, a level where you go back from say FFXVI, FFXII, FFX, FFIX, FFVIII and finally FFVII. The speed run level has been fun, some back and forth between friends to get the best time. I know there's a new level each week or so and I think that, if they just continued this trend of adding a new speedrun level each week, it would be a better model of encouraging people to keep playing your game post launch and completion than any of these other recent live service games

Managed 'Slowdown Showdown' this morning. I made it to the final jump multiple times but kept panicking and messing up the timing. Still got 'To the Beat' and 'Splashing Sprint'... And the final challenge.

I'm on to the Great Master Challenge. Feel like I can get about halfway through. To the two metal cubes with purple slimes on them. This somehow doesn't feel as bad as Splashing Sprint or To The Beat, just longer. The final set of jumps looks hard though...

Went back to Playroom to find the hidden bots from the update
Searched around and found nothing in every level. Am I just being thick or are they convoluted?

I did fail that bit a few times - not because it was tough but because I'd bodged it.

I feel much calmer as I repeatedly die while attempting this level. Feels slightly less like you need precise timing and jumping, and a little more that you need to keep going and remember what's coming next. I had trouble really on with the bells and the electric bird. But I've worked out a consistent approach to that section now.

Went back and did that final bastard challenge level. Those chickens were fine once I'd worked out the patten, but sticking them at the end was annoying. By the final run everything before them was automatic and I did fuck it once on the final, final jump but got it the next time.
Also did the first two speedruns. They're fine, nice to have something new, but I hope they do a new world.

I made it to the final jumping section of the master challenge this morning... So close, but not quite.
And yet, this still doesn't feel as hard as some of the other challenge levels. I keep making silly mistakes. But I know I'll get it soon.
