I’m at 95.something%. The remaining collectibles are just crystals and I can’t be bothered to search them out. I have every room completely uncovered, so it’d mean searching all of them.

I can’t achieve 100%. I just discovered the parrot glitch. If you accept a mission involving a parrot and the quest has no instruction on the quest screen, it cannot be completed.

The game freezes for me every time I try to accept that one. Odd it's not been patched yet, given everyone seems to have a problem of some sort with it.

Had a weird glitch earlier where I beat a boss that dropped a soma flower but simply would not accept it. Had to quit the game and back, thankfully it auto saved. Couple of visual bugs here and there like Sargon becoming invisible or the camera gets really close up, but nothing too bad.

Reddit indicates a workaround for Xbox and ps5 versions to do with disconnecting and reconnecting the controller. Don’t know about Switch

I’ll leave it for now as I’m sure there will be a patch down the line. As I’m playing the Switch version, there are no locked achievements to haunt me on the dashboard
The game is otherwise 100% finished! I really, really enjoyed that. The platforming and combat was so perfectly balanced. Intricate enough you could chain some amazing moves together, but not complicated enough your fingers are having to perform gymnastics.
30 hours in total, but that did involve a few laps around the map to find more treasures when I could have waited until the very end. But, where’s the fun in that?
Overall, even with the bugged quest and some absolutely dire voice acting, I think I have to give it a perfect score. At least using a 5-star system. It’s up there with the best modern efforts at the genre.

This forest queen boss is giving me some trouble. Allegedly the hardest in the game. In my opinion the second hardest. Either way, if you beat her, you will have the whole game beat soon enough. The game changer for me was getting the party timing down for her ‘special’ attack. The camera zooms so far out it’s tricky to get right. Once you nail it, you’ll save yourself from losing 2 - 3 bars of health. Beyond that, I was dodging every single other attack, rather than parrying them. |

If I can recall, I believe I used the shadow close to her, ran to the other side and when enough distance cleared, shifted to the shadow. |

Oh yeah! That shadow trick is key for a number of bosses from that point onward. A number of boss attacks cannot be dodged, otherwise.
It’s worth noting that there is an amulet that turns that teleport move into an attack. As you teleport through an enemy you deal damage and it’s pretty effective against bosses that take up a lot of screen space.

Don’t know about Switch If you're on PC, you can force close the Ubisoft launcher and that somehow unfreezes the game. Just press 'no' after closing the launcher when the game asks if you want to exit. I have had a few other glitches and bugs on this, that have resulted in me having to quit out to menu, and sometimes lose a bit of progress. Nothing too major, but still a little bit annoying. I'm like 70-odd percent complete but I suspect coming up to the final section/boss now. Don't think I can be bothered with 100% - there's a couple of optional platforming/puzzle bits that are beyond me I think, and I doubt I have the patience to hunt out all the collectibles. |

Gah. It doesn’t appear to be working for me. Either the update isn’t available on Switch yet, or it only prevents the bug from occurring, rather than fixing the issue after it has occurred.
Either way, I can’t even see a parrot in that room anymore and the quest instructions are still blank.
I’m sitting pretty on 96.35% I can only see 1 coin I need, which will be from the quest. I seemingly have every other collectible on the map, so I hope that’s all I need!

Wha?! That’s the version I have installed. Yeah, instead of the parrot just hanging around near the door back to the pirate it has now completely disappeared. The room is empty and the pirate is still waffling on about the possessed pirates outside.
Ah well. Maybe after the next update!

Plot twist! It’ll have to wait to until after work, but I’ll check it out. Maybe the patch was late out on Switch?
This might be the toughest 100% I’ve had on a game in this genre since the original Metroid!

Finished this yesterday. Final boss wasn't too bad - did it second go. I think it helped I had loads of health bars really. Finished on just over 80% complete. Might go back and some point and polish off some of the bits I missed. Very enjoyable game overall.

The pirate has been replaced by a character called Youthist and the dialogue has changed to three screens worth of “Hahahaha”.
