Sriracha mayo is so good as a pizza dip. It's gotten to the point where I can't imagine having pizza without it.
Does anybody have a preferred sriracha brand now that huy fong seems to have gone to shit?

Is the sauce still garbage at Pizza Hut? /points at thread title I mean I was dowsing each slice in my homemade burger sauce (come at me) so ymmv. Well there we go then. Think I'll continue to not have a pizza hut if I ever see one in the wild.

Honestly can't believe anyone gets McDonald's and similar delivered. I don't mind it every now and then on premise when it's actually hot and somewhat crispy (where appropriate) but surely it's all just a horrendous lukewarm soggy mess by the time it's got to your house? they tried to address that by cooking the burgers at higher temperatures and toasting to bun suits less absorbent. Ruined it for all, for the sake of delivery.

KFC in America is awful. Really bland. Had it twice to make sure my first experience wasn’t a dud but second time confirmed it. Dickey’s BBQ on the other hand though… god tier fast food. Yup, totally agree. It's soooooo bad. UK KFC is Michelin starred in comparison - freshly made, crispy, delicious! this might explain whyu found Popeye's in the UK so bland.

Pizza Hut delivered last night, a "treat" for the eldest. Pizzas were pretty good, hot and spicy. Sides not so great. Floppy fries and four depressing baguette style garlic bread slices. I had to jazz them up in the oven. £34 The cost of pizza for a family of 4 from a chain takeaway is maddening, but I come at that from someone that "outgrew" takeaway pizza years ago. They just make me sick these days. Sainsbury's actually do a half decent "takeaway" pizza deal for £12. 2 pizzas, 2 sides and a dip which more than sates the kids' appetite for bad pizza now.

Does it have a bad sauce to crust ratio like all really bad takeaway pizza?

I'm with Binks, can't stump up that sort of cash for distinctly average takeaway pizza. Ours have pizza every Friday and have done for years but get whatever's on offer - usually pizza express or Tesco own. They are cardboardy at times but for less than £3 a pop, not bad at all. If I could be arsed, I'd make my own properly but they don't like my wrap pizza.so sod them.

Haven't had fast food in the US for a while but during a year long stay in Canada I got well aquainted with A&W. It's basically Wendy's in a country that already has Wendy's, but their USP is doing root beer floats. Occasionally see the A&W root beer in supermarkets and import shops at a ridiculous markup over here. Tastes like mouth wash. Recommended.

In my ideal world every deliveroo order from any restaurant would come with fatal salmonella infection. Just don't bloody use bloody scam bloody disruptive tech bloody gig economy modern slaver companies and you won't die of food poisoning, okay?

Yeah I tried when I used to shop at a French supermarket and they had all of that shit. It's a really weird aftertaste that for some reason i began to appreciate the more I drank.

It has that Irn Bru quality of “what the hell is this? Is it supposed to taste like this? And where can I find more of it?”

We have one pretty much every Saturday, because it is proper good.

McRib sandwich meal last night and...it was super disappointing. The rib part was ok, but it's quite a small sandwich, barely any sauce and a paucity of onions. I also felt like it lacked any kind of texture too. I really can't see what the fuss is about but wouldn't seek it out again. On the plus side it's not worse than the McChicken Big Mac.

I wish they did the Big Tasty here. If you get it fresh and hot there isn’t a better burger IMO from McDonalds. I do have fond memories of some of the taste of the world ones though. Loved it when they did stuff like that - they are very unadventurous now. The McCrispy is indeed great - one of those that is simple in ingredients and execution but is ‘just right’.

Sausage and egg mcmuffin is the best thing they do, take or leave the rest as pretty much everything else is done better some other place

Yeah, I go past one on my way to work and the temptation is always strong to just nip in and grab a sausage and egg mcmuffin. Any other time and there's absolutely no appeal.

I do like the McDonald's breakfasts. Decent coffee too (though I'm a pleb who just drinks instant coffee at home so I really shouldn't appraise coffee)
Haven't been there outside of breakfast time for years.
Doesn't help that the McDonald's in the centre of Bristol is an absolute shithole full of youths in black puffa jackets trying to act like hard men, with more than a couple of stabbings there, so I'm inclined to avoid that place when it's busy.
