I completed my snipping procedure this morning. I am a compete wimp so got really worked up before and almost bailed.
The clinic were great and explained everything, the injection in the scrotum didn't hurt at all barely felt it.
The tugging etc is weird but doesn't hurt, took about 5-10 min.
Nice coffee after
Now the anesthetic has worn off its painful, but about the same pain as 2 min after you've been kicked in the knackers.
Nothing my concoction of naproxen and co-cocodamol won't solve.

Yeah it was the non scalpel one. No stitches. They make a tiny hole and hook out the tube snip and laser. Unless there's an even newer way?
I will be well and truly making sure I get my 48 hours haha

I got mine done on a Thursday evening and booked Friday off work, so had a lovely long weekend of lying in bed playing games without getting hassled for lying in bed and playing games.
Worth it for that alone. Although the sympathy had definitely dried up by Sunday.

Yup, I posted mine off. Must be slightly different test to fertility treatment - for that I had to get the sample to the hospital within 15/20 mins so was resorted to knocking one out in the bogs. My swimmers were a disappointing "satisfactory".

Postal samples for mine, although they rejected one which got delayed to postal strikes.
They should tell you how many times you need to clean the pipes and arrange tests for a few months, and sign you off after a couple of successful negative tests.
My postal tests kept showing low numbers of non-motile sperm after 6 months. Eventually had to do a final test at a fertility clinic to get signed off.

Yeah need to send a sample off in January, they want me to aim for 2-3 ejaculations every week till then. Which is ambitious, might be a solo mission.

I may have made use of the work toilets on more than one occasion as well as the M&S disabled toilet around the corner from the hospital, not my fault my little soldiers carried on fighting for months!
