I'm going into it with lower expectations than Andor, hoping it'll be better than Obi Wan. Quite like the cast they've put together, worry as always will be the writing.

Nexus6, are you able to not call it Ashoka (Glasgow curry chain).
Looking forward to this, love a bit of Rosario.

I've enjoyed most of the Star Wars TV shows, even Obi Wan, so looking forward to some more (I've not seen Mando season 3 yet or Boba Fett).

Is Ahsoka in other shows besides Clone Wars and an episode of Mandalorian? Watched about a season and a half of CW. Should probably get back to it before watching this series.

I honestly up til this very moment thought it was Ashoka.

I last visited an Ashoka restaurant back in 2006 or 2007. I still get offers texted to my phone, despite repeatedly asking them to stop and not living anywhere near one. They really want me back.

Definitely a possible Bollywood adaptation here.

As it's a live action sequel to Rebels I couldn't be more excited to see it, hopefully it's not a fuck up and as it's incredibly personal to Dave Filoni I would hope that means it won't be another Boba Fett or Kenobi.

Still not entirely convinced by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, not because I don't think she's up to the job but the make up certainly looks a tad dodgy as Hera. Everyone else looks fine and hopefully Zeb's cameo in Mando S3 means he'll be popping up a bit even though he's not been seen in any of the trailers. Clearly Chopper needs to commit lots of droid murder otherwise it won't be quite right. It'll be nice to go back to Lothal too.

Another reason to hope for the best is that it's probably one of the last times we'll ever see Ray Stevenson.

It's two episodes on day one so that's nice.

If it’s good, you should be fine watching it on its own.

A little bit of Clone Wars would help though, to become familiar with the character.

I thought the trailer was great, and Rosario Dawson is always decent, but after the last few shows I can't really work up much hope or excitement for this.

I haven't seen Clone Wars or Rebels, which doesn't really help.

I hear Ahsoka is a good character, but her live action appearances haven't really given her any kind of distinct personality or driving force. I'm not sure what she stands for, other than being a nice jedi.

I liked the trailer, but it did lean very heavily on 'cool lightsaber moments' and 'remember this character from Clone Wars', which rings some warning bells.

Really wish they would just go back to Fridays.
