Digital Foundry making a good point about OLED. Seeing as the current Switch OLED is still selling at £299, it’s highly unlikely we’ll see a Switch 2 OLED for £399. I can’t see them lowering the price of the old models all that much either, so it doesn’t look promising for a fancy screen on this new console. Not unless they’re going to release a £499 premium model.

I can't go back from OLED. Guess I'll wait a while if it's true. I generally shy away from early adoption anyway.

Yeah, it would feel like a massive backwards step in some respects. I'm still hoping they'll launch with two models, and I'd be happy to pay £400+ for a premium OLED version, but it's looking unlikely now.
