It really is a shocking storefront. Can't be as shonky as ps3 though, no?

Forget the store - there's a decent chance this is the final main console that takes physical media.

I use it both docked and handheld, but never with a single joycon. I was naively hoping they’d ditch that idea so it could have a proper d-pad and sensibly sized grips.

Render looks weird. Doesn’t even look like 16:9 to me, and just very bland.

Would be a shame not to have some of Nintendo's innovation and creativity in the new console but I get why they appear to be going for more of the same. I wouldn't put it past them to have something relatively new cooking to add to the "if it ain't broke" base of the Switch (although maybe not necessarily on release), and it just hasn't leaked yet... But yeah back comp not being a thing would be a major damper (and a rather stupid move, I'm no financial analyst but I'd guess they'd lose more on sales than they'd make from reselling games), so hopefully they do have it

If it released in that colour, I'd have to wait

I'm still waiting for Ouya 2. If only former EG user Chris/Dale was here to champion it.

I hate all those bland Apple colours. Even the Switch Lite colours aren't that nice (the last time I looked). The neon Switch is distinctive and kind of fun, like the purple GameCube

Annoying that they look like they haven’t considered ergonomics (if this is all real). My poor hands.

I can't see them ever fixing ergonomics AND sticking with detachable controllers. Never the twain shall meet...
I just hope that there's a dock option and I don't have to buy another pro controller.

If they're larger that'll go some way to making them more comfortable.

Realise I’m probably going to be buying two of these at launch, if it’s possible. I can’t share with the significant other as they eat and play, which results in filthy, disgusting, dirty, sticky controllers.

My OG Switch rails were pretty broken, due to the constant taking out the controllers. But, when I upgraded to the OLED I have kept it in a grip, so it's pretty much brand new. I can't see why the pro controllers won't work on the new one.

We share a Steam Deck, and I'm constantly having to put it back in the case.. must.. be... perfect.

When it's not docked my OG Switch lives in a Nitro Deck these days. It's heavier and not as as portable, but I prefer the size, ergonomics and full size sticks on the Nitro Deck.

If she's eating dinner with her hands it's possible you're in a relationship with a caveperson. Don't be alarmed, but also don't make any sudden movements.

My OLED Switch is immaculate! Screen protector on day one and its in a case when not used.
I want to give it to my niece one day, but knowing the careless way my bro and his wife treat stuff i know i'll silently resent it being decimated in short order!

You wouldn’t think they do much, but they give her controllers a glossy finish (even after washing) and the buttons jam. It’s crazy. I can keep a controller pristine for 20 years, but hers barely last 20 minutes.
