Maybe the real game was the friends we made along the way.

...or maybe just run blindly to the finish line and complain about you're legs hurt.
I went to the Louvre once. Fucking shit it was. I went in through the entrance and just concentrated on what mattered: being able to say I've been there. Some cunt puts some pictures on the wall but I didn't have time for that shit because I needed to get out again because I needed to say I've been some other places. I don't even fucking enjoy going places but I'm going places and I'm the best.

I just find it weird. I moan about a game because of my experience. I was playing it real on easy and just reacting to every conversation. I did side quests that seemed to actually matter and I did every companion quest. The things that seemed to not matter I ignored. I tried to avoid combat and talk things over to resolve issues. I even went back to earlier areas to explore because on here I learnt that I missed stuff. Still I get shit like I rushed it. At no point did I rush it, I played the game and made decisions based on what was shown. I didn't like th combat. I loved everything else..whoopy doo.

You didn't like the combat in a game where the gameplay is almost entirely about the combat. But you loved everything else.
Just like me at the Lourve. The drawings were shit. Everything else: awesomes.
Not having a go btw. I just find it hilarious.

You lot are depressing. Can't have a conversation.

Is there no sign posting to warn you of difficult areas, etc?
I think that would have helped.
I've not bought it yet but there's just so much out that I want to play first, I think I might come back to this in another years time.
Maybe when the PS5 Pro is released, heh.

Eh? Everyone's been respectful, people have taken the piss in a jokey manner people have agreed with you and disagreed with on different points, like a conversation.
I'm not sure what else you want tbh, again I'm not having a go but you've posted in this thread primarily complaining about the combat quite a lot, some people have suggested perhaps you've rushed through the game, based on their own experiences, making you quite underleveled and therefore making things harder than they need to be, you've disagreed which is your right. Then you've kept posting the same thing and getting the same response. People are engaging in conversation with you I'm sorry that it's not 100% the response you want. I appreciate your input and your take on the game, but you can't turn around and said no one's engaged you and we're all depressing as a result. We're depressing for other deeper reasons.

I remember one point where the game flat out warned that I was looking a bit under-levelled and asked me if I was *really* sure if I wanted to proceed? There's also lots of incidental indicators like character dialogue signposting if something is a major combat.
Generally the "act" structure stops you coming across anybody too insanely difficult.
Plus you can inspect the levels of any character you can see.
And if you're fighting someone who is singing the lyrics to the background music playing during a combat: hold on to your pants.

I guess “60 hours is rushing it” is the new “the game opens up at 30 hours.”

Can you really shag a bear in this?
It seems a bit weird to me. Shagging animals is abusive and never OK. I know people will say it's not real, it's fantasy, no kink shaming, it's just a joke, etc and it's (presumably) a shapeshifting druid or something so they can give concent, but they wouldn't be able to have someone shagging a child and say that it's really a 200 year old witch trapped in an 8 year old's body or whatever
Plus it's fucking a bear
Not outraged or offended or anything, just seems a bit gross

To be fair, it's more that the bear shags you.

Sad you didn’t love it as much as some people, myself included, and doing a bit more wandering and levelling up may have changed that some, but sounds like you had a good time mostly. I do regret not winging it a bit more and definitely felt compelled to do things I didn’t really want to because game.

I still said 9/10 amazing game but everyone wants to fight a difference of option about the combat.
Fantastic game and only second to Alan wake 2 for my GOTY.

Raphael's final act theme song is 14/10 so to rate the rest of the game -5 is a bit harsh.

At no point did I rush it, I played the game and made decisions based on what was shown. I didn't like th combat. I loved everything else..whoopy doo. It's fine to just not like some aspect of a game for whatever reason, but a lot of your particular problems are difficult to see as anything but self-inflicted.
Maybe you really don't think you skipped a lot, but you did. Less XP and loot = less powerful characters = the game is harder. That's how virtually every RPG ever works. You're absolutely allowed to do that, but you did it, the game didn't do it to you.
So when you keep complaining over and over that fights are too hard or take too long while seemingly ignoring every attempt to explain this to you and what you can do to fix it, it comes across as if you're just hell-bent on complaining for the sake of complaining. Thus the piss-taking.
I guess “60 hours is rushing it” is the new “the game opens up at 30 hours.” Nope, you're let off the leash in the first 30 minutes so that doesn't fit at all. If you don't want to play a long CRPG that's obviously fine, but it's a bit weird to be a sourpuss about a game you haven't played and don't know enough about to come up with criticisms that have anything to do with reality.

Do you ever wonder what Timmy is doing now bichii? Does it keep you up at night When you are on a mission to save the universe Timmy can eat a bag of dicks. Hence why it was 60 hours. It was on easy mode and I only took on quests that sounded like they actually mattered or any missions that affected my team mates. I wasn't playing it like a computer game where I just methodically just completed every pointless quest to over level. Heh. I remember doing this in Baldur's Gate 1.
Right at the beginning they tell you to escape to some town in the south as fast as you can. So I did just that, avoiding combat as much as possible and not doing any side quests.
So I was still Level 1 when I got there, and I think each level kinda doubled your hit points.
So as soon as the first main encounter happened in that town I got slaughtered as I got one-hit-killed by everyone.
Maybe it's just one of those things you have to accept in cRPGs. No matter how logical it would be to skip the side quests and focus on saving the world, you should always save Timmy because doing so will give you more HP and a shiny sword +1.

Yeah, honestly I don't really care that much. But this has been very entertaining, so thanks bichii2. I do think you're a bit weird about this game, but I love you all the same. You've inspired me to start another Ironman run on XCOM 2.

Going to start a new game and fully commit to being dark this time. I ended up a chaotic good character last time. I did plenty of bad things but overall I was nice and did the "good" thing at the major story points. I think I'll just be shadowheart and embrace the darkness and see where the story goes when you always choose the naughty path. I guess first up will be pillaging the emerald grove with my goblin army. Sadly though I believe this means wyll will no longer join the party. Wimp.

For the sake of harmony and equilibrium, could you keep your progress updates to just a ‘it went better this time’ when you finish it again to tomorrow?

Don't forget to do more side quests to level up a bit more. Just accept that's how D&D works... 😊

What's the menuing like on console/pad? Is it nice and snappy on the dpad or are you moving a cursor around with the analogue stick for everything?
Any issues with Series X?

The menus are dire on console. Even worse the Witcher 3. The radial menu you use RB/lb to tab between and then the analogue stick to choose the spell/action you want to take.
The wheel is not too bad but the inventory page and other bits are painful.
I had zero issues on Xbox but they recommend linking your account their account and then in the options click cross save so it also backs up your saves to their servers as there have been reported issues on Xbox of lost saves.

Gone for a Durge monk, going to go evil assassin with it. And as I'm not capable of the patience it's just on Hard mode, not insane Ironman mode.
