I find it weird *everyone* wants to fuck you (or at least try it on). I suppose that's the fantasy element ;-) Well, the point I was trying to make above is that most of them only want to fuck you if you initiate it. It's only Lae'zel and Karlach who have expressed any thirst for me on their own. All the others have been completely platonic relationships except Shadowheart who I chose to flirt with first, and that's been a cute romantic relationship with no boinking so far.
Like the companions are only that horny and up for it if you choose to roleplay an extremely horny character yourself...

Ha, I was reading through that review and saw one of the pictures included: Unless I'm misremembering the thing you need to open it is in the cave that you can get to via a couple of hidden entrances in the blacksmith's basement in the same village. *Edited to make the spoiler less spoilery. |

The issue for me with the romance stuff is that it seems stupidly easy to trigger to the point where the druid guy wanted into my pants literally 5 minutes after rescuing him (it seems you literally just have to show no interest at all and just be moderately nice to someone, as every party member has tried it on).
And then if you reject the advance, there's basically no other dialogue from that point on with that character that isn't directly story related. It feels to me like the romantic options cover a lot of "get to know you better" area, which should still be available to do but contextualised in a platonic friendship way if you don't pursue the romance, not just... gone.

Funny, these are the exact companions I was tentatively planning on having to round out my party along with DadFE (Karlach was an instant fave on design and class both and Shadowheart close by, before even looking at storylines, relationships and such). Guess we're going for the meaningful romances then. I've got good instincts  |

My camp chat has dried up quite a bit, but I expect that is because I have exhausted all that I can do with them in Act 1. Could also be that I've mainly been using Shadowheart, Lae'zel and Astarion in my party. Could be I would have more from the others if I partied with them more. Astarion has been chatty with me without us having any sexy time though. |

I'm only buddies with Karlach, but being able to give her a hug in act 2 is among my top cute moments in gaming. |

Wyll's go to opening move is to cast a lighting bolt of some sort which gives him the 'concentration' status. There's then a big damage spell available from the illithid tadpole in his head, which can only be cast when using concentration. So when I picked up some boots or other that gave casters an adventage related to concetration, I slapped them onhim, only for his spells to be unvailable in the next battle. Turns out the booths are medium freaking armour. I've done it twice now because 3 days after the first time I thought 3Oh, these wil be prefect for Wyll" again. |

There's an area where darkness and light forms a significant part of the game, and village with lots of light sources from burning fires. My FPS would drop down to 20-30, despite having an shiny new rx 7900 xtx. Hardware monitor wasn't putting either CPU or GPU load > 60% either.

Haven't as I heard that there were some stability issues with Vulkan. Finding it alright then? Might as well give it a go.

Vulkan has some issues with cutscenes and bloom in the camp occasionally iirc, but otherwise I've found in act 2 that it has made the game go from a stuttery mess to being able to hold 60fps even in the last light inn.
