Perhaps we should count it being the last time he did any work?

I wondered if it was Boris hanging on that the Archbishop of Canterbury was aiming at with this in his speech:
"Leaders of loving service are still rarer. But in all cases those who serve will be loved and remembered when those who cling to power and privileges are long forgotten."

He must be gutted he didn't hang on an extra week to be The Man during all this silliness.

If only Brenda died a few days earlier, he could have called off the leadership race while he steadied the ship

It was nice seeing Boris be the first of the former PMs into Westminster Abbey, then being told to move to the side and let the others through in order of premiership. Boris at the back of the queue, looking grumpy as hell and like a sack of rags left out for the charity shop. Seems like a stretch this, presumably Major, Blair and Brown had already gone in order, then he just walked in. Doesn’t feel like the gotcha it’s been made out to be

Fuck Boris Johnson, but too much is being made of this.

And his dour face. I mean are there not a few other legitimate reasons he might have a dour face?
I think I'm disappointed that I'd heard about this and now I get to see that it's nothing

His face is naturally dour, because he's drunk.
I honestly don't believe he's feeling any emotion at the Queen's death. I don't think the man is capable of human empathy or compassion, he's a true narcissist.
I absolutely think he wishes that he was still PM during all this. That's what he regrets.

She must have a really shit life. Didn't watch any of it yesterday and can't say I feel like I missed out on anything. Hopefully we'll start to see less about the parasites in the media, but fear we're going to see continued royal coverage for a few weeks at least. I don't watch much terrestrial TV these days, record documentaries from BBC 4 and never watch them, if anything Can't have watched more than 5 mins in total of any of the coverage, and that was made up of stumbling onto stuff on streaming platforms long enough to change the feed and get the shit off my screen. Just incredulous at the wall to wall coverage and the fact that I share an island with people who lap it up. A nation divided was never made more starkly evident. A lot of that going about these days I know no-one who gave a shite about it. I reckon the media/state rammed it home but most people are too apathetic to voice their disinterest.

A number floating around online that over 5 billion people watched the Queens funeral and if you believe that then I have a bridge to sell you.

Can things grow on this bridge? Perhaps like a garden?

If there's going to be a bidding war for Tuffty's bridge, consider my hat thrown into the ring.

Given your choices for ITV daytime telly are Lorraine, Holly and the rabble of Loose Women, I am fairly sure which one I'd keep.

Seems from that HW is saying they didn’t jump the queue. And if they did wouldn’t one of the shit rags found people standing around them to state that they were right there and saw them do it etc. I expect it’s as she says - they filed into the room to go into the press area. Now twitter cunts have seen the regular feed and the rest is frothing twitter cunt history

Which real number is the greater, funeral viewings or Danno’s post count?

Wasn't there some report that 5bn people had viewed the funeral proceedings?
If so... Danno's postcount, obviously.

Yeah this is faux outrage directed at fairly soft targets. WFH I sometimes have the telly on in the background and those two have been nonstop Queen. I can absolutely imagine they went down to get some footage.
Of course, "media personalities doing their job near to public" doesn't have the same ring to it.

Apparently Philip Schofield pushed an old woman down the stairs as he passed, and Holly spat on a veteran.
