Lulz. Had a job approach from a "BitCoin/Crypto/NFT/Cyber FinTech" startup company (their description, not mine) on LinkedIn today, looking for experienced InfoSec pros... "Come and work for the newest and most exciting FinTech in the history of history ever! Bros! Crypto! Amazing opportunity, best company ever, definitely be able to pay you!" sort of thing. I asked him for a job description and salary range they're expecting to pay (not that I'm actually interested) and he's gone oddly quiet.  |

Meanwhile, OpenSea is apparently being hacked and more fake money is being siphoned off to the perpetrator's account in plain view of everyone, but is that even news at this point?

To be fair, they took a "wait and see" stance, and they waited and saw that players didn't want that shit. Sometimes waiting on players is a good thing, as in this case. Sometimes it isn't, as in the Xbox One reveal case, where everything they revealed came to pass in a year or two anyway, but it took players some time to warm up to it. |

I still can't see q situation where gamers in general warmed up to NFTs as again the publishers trying to implement them are doing in the case of a licence to print money as opposed to any real value for the consumer. Yeah sure people in thrall to it always go on about selling a used digital game or selling equipment to make money or giving devs more power but that ain't happening. The means already exists, if the industry wanted it to happen it would have happened a while ago. I mean CS Go already has an economy of selling skins so why the fuck do you need to get the Blockchain involved. You don't it's all bullshit.

The latest one was basically getting people to put their signature on a blank piece of paper, the filling in "I'll give my NFTs to the person holding this SMART contract!" Fucking hell |

To be fair, it seems like he could have sold them for 14million and made a nice profit, even after the highly decentralised and totally web3 auction house Sotheby had taken their cut, and then the highly efficient and totally free conversion of smurf berries into actual money you can use had taken their cut.
But seeing as he choose wealth I'm guessing a few wash trades and am ether pump is needed first.
