What is the difference between a gold and silver award at the end of a round. You can be number 1 for something, but can get either type of award. Also, took me a lifetime to realise you can quick jump from spawn. You don't even need to fire down to the map itself before hand. Its so much quicker. Some medals are conidered higher tier, so it's like High Tier Awards: 1st is gold, 2nd is silver Lower Tier Awards: 1st is silver, 2nd is nothing
The lower tier ones tend to be things that are less useful to your team than other things but which are still worth a bit of a shout. For example, Rainmaker Carrier, Damage Taker, Base Defender will only go to Silver.

I had my first rage quit today. 0 - 5 in a Turf War battle. No idea what happened, but it followed another lousy game and I quickly snapped. Might take a break over the weekend. Haha.

Also, cheers for that. It makes sense, but I wasn't going to figure that out! I often get #1 base painter, spawn jump point and most targeted player, but occasionally a few silver awards drop in.

I picked this up a couple days as my December game. Unless my memory is wrong, I’m liking the fact you can now play this lying down in handheld mode, which I don’t think was possible in 2. Been just playing a few games here and there in bed. It’s great
First impressions are that it feels a relatively safe sequel but i do enjoy going back to this series from time to time, there isn’t anything quite like it. Only been playing turf war though.

I know a few of your kind. Annoyingly, one of them is better than me.
On a completely different note, I'm loving both the new maps. They add some proper variety and personality. I'm obviously familiar with Flounder Heights, but they both feel like top tier maps already.

Flounder is great, you can tell just from wandering around that it's several tiers above most maps in 3 because there's copious amounts of cover. You won't see an E-Liter 4k holding down the entire map with ease there, because they have to earn that by pushing into mid.
Brinewater seems really small, but there's lots of spawn exits at least.

That is a very lonely individual without a significant other to call them out on their crazy behaviour. Sad times.
Even more sad, I am stuck with this awful 5G internet contract until next June, so cannot play this at all. I hate Vodafone with a passion and will never use them again once I am done with them.

I’ve been clocking roughly an hour per night these past two weeks and it’s great to be back. I’m almost 2 years behind in regards to experience, but I’m now able to hold my own with a handful of favourite weapons.
Tonight was a great thought as I had my first solo wipeout. In about 10 seconds I managed to flip an assault on my own base and take the battle into the opponents base just as the time had run out.
The specials in this game are incredible, too. All of them. They’re so well refined now.
