Hah, just rolled a sorcerer. About the 10th monster I kill, it drops a superior eagle orb, +1 to frozen armour and 2 sockets! Win!

edit: As your stat points are semi permament, I'd recommend taking my first bit of advice but maybe not the second. And definitely this piece of advice

Wunty, have a look at some guides online and it's gives you an idea what to aim for depending on what you want.
But also, melee characters, isn't it just enough strength and Dex to wield and then the rest into vitality?

I'm quite certain you can rely on what you get just from levelling and then mana leech later on. You might want to put some in early if you're really struggling or just want a buffer but I don't think you want to be investing in it even for magic characters |

It's a bit odd at first, but I've almost got used to it already. Also, I am absolutely re-addicted again. Didnt take long! Just the den of evil was enough to trigger it |
