It was very laggy for me this morning, rubber banding particularly bad in dungeons. Think it’s down for maintenance tonight, 7-9pm UK time

Ah FFS. So it seems that starting a new seasonal character doesn't magically cause the map exploration cheevo to pop on Xbox if you've already done it on PC.
I'll have to explore the full map again if I ever want full achievements. First world problems...

So I was arsing about in campaign again last night doing a few tree/whispers strongholds etc as well as some dungeons for the aspects. I'm level 59 and all my loot is shit again. Will this get better at 60 when I drop to lower level versus the mob scaling after they tweaked things, or do I need to up it to WT4 now? I'm still plugging away at strongholds etc for the obol expansions and bonus paragon points for map area shit at the moment. maybe I shouldn't be? I figure with season 1 until october I can hold off on that for a bit yet, or am i doing this wrong?  |

I'm just moving around the map whereever the grim favours are currently and doing side quests and Strongholds in that area. Slowly grinding the renown to get my paragon points. As soon as I have enough damage and DR I'm going straight for WT4 asap and then I'll loiter around the helltides while the big Bois cleanup and I can get some easy chests and ancestral gear.
The more I do the paragon boards the more I realise it's essentially the same passive skill tree that Poe has although limited such that the boards are locked to specific classes. Just lots of nodes with passive points and bonuses to change up your character. Maybe they should've gone balls in on this at the start and come up with another way to apply skills.
I think one season they'll open up all boards to all classes and allow you to build some hybrid multiclass chars as a test, seems like a logical orogression

I'd say start on 2 if you've got a few bonus skill points from renown + stats from Lilith altars. Drop it down to 1 if it ever feels like you're wasting time chipping away at enemies' health.

I could be doing quite a lot more damage with this necro if I went minion less but tooling round with 11 skellies is cool AF. They're not useless anymore now that ive gone full shadow, darkness and blight.
The aspect search on necro is real too cos quite a few of the ones I want are not codex based. I'm still trying to find two specific aspects, 1 minion and one blood mist. Not seen them once. Then there are the aspects that give me more skellies and mages, still not had a replacement for those either so I'm still stuck with that gear.

I’m still holding onto an early pair of err pants, which despite being well behind in armour, have a +6 to all stats boost that I’ve never seen since (Lvl 29)

Phattso - I haven’t touched those yet and I’ve only just started socketing gems. Just enjoying unfogging the map to be honest and going into Necromancer dungeons and ‘one more side quest’ 😬

Well, that's bullshit. I'd just 99% çompleted a dungeon and thought I'd just nip back and salvage and when I came back, the fucking dungeon had reset so I had to carry those 56 carvings to the pedestals. Again!

Let me just sanity check that with you lot You only get the lowest rolls on a legendary affix if you apply it from the Codex. The aspects you extract from equipment remain at whatever they rolled at originally. So yeah, long story short, if you've got an affix that you like, take it off bad equipment and put it on better equipment. I have significant problems with that system, but that's what the game wants you to do. |
