Diablo (series)

The dev chat thing, they said sorry a bit, and there's a few vague promises of looking at sorc and generally how fun, or not, the game is to play. They also said they won't do this again, no honest, and will have patch notes available a week in advance of any major changes.

Going to be another chat in a week or so, then a 1.11 patch. No massive rollback or anything though, they are making nightmare dungeons easier as of today. For the 1.11 patch, they are increasing xp gain post 50, adding extra stash tab, and ' looking at' unused aspects for barb and sorc.

I'm not sure I'm really captivated by the whole Seasons thing. Going waaaay back to a low level character isn't exactly reinvigorating as I was still having plenty of fun on my level 62.

Hats off to the Malignant stuff though - it's cleverly threaded into the game world, looks like a fun new system, and I anticipate the Seasonal Chapters giving me another reason to go and do random things... but I'm not particularly excited at the prospect. I sat on the login screen earlier and contemplated loading in my Eternal Realm character which probably isn't what they were aiming for. Ended up turning it off and doing house chores instead, ffs!

Maybe I'm just having a bad week though and it'll look more rosy in a few days.

I've not had a chance to roll a seasonal one yet. What's the queuing and lag like at the moment?

Seemed fine for the 45 minutes or so I played this morning too.

I did linger over the notion of rolling another Necromancer, but decided to go all the way the other way with a Barbarian, and I'm having a decent enough time with that so far (albeit I've only hit Level 10 with it so far).

I’m on the rogue train, coming from pulverise Druid.

I am enjoying just pottering around doing random dungeons, working through the season chapters and doing all the stuff I skipped on my eternal character (pretty much just focused on campaign)

I thought I’d hate the start over season model but I’m warming to it quite rapidly

I've started off my new Rogue following this build to see how that works out. And too new to the class and too lazy to work out my own....

Early days but it's a lot of fun. It's higher workload compared with my druid, have to pay a lot more attention to positioning and what I'm using next. Which is also a refreshing change.

I'd definitely use the momentum passive skill at the end - it's healing power is very very useful as you're constantly on the move and it's hard to keep an eye on everything - thus skill really helps with that

I've gone Barrage, which is annoying as my main aspect is from a dungeon sitting under a level 40 stronghold 🙄

Resource draining bosses in the tunnels can fucking do one.

How are you all levelling? I did the campaign to Act II, then skipped and started mixing events, whispers and the Malignant stuff. I'm wondering if dungeon spam is the way to go (for speed)

I might switch to RF from Barrage for a bit. It worked really well on my Pen Shot build for Bosses and I think it'll be better for levelling

I wish the game would remember I’ve seen the season intro screen

It was really good but the defenses dropped off a cliff in late game. Don't know what the damage feels like this season.

Are you playing shards, orb or blizzard?

Polished off the capstone dungeon as my druid. I didn't realise setting it to WT3 would put every zone a couple of levels above mine
