The uproar over the whole patch is just bizarre to me, people are frothing at the mouth, never seen anything like it As far as I can tell it's a combination of the patch notes more or less reading "reduced fun" (nerfs across the board even in builds that didn't need them with no real buffs to compensate, spongier enemies -in multiple ways- changed loot mechanics and so on), cynicism that the seasonal mechanics will potentially be just a fix to said nerfs rather than anything interesting (create the problem, sell the solution) and Blizzard outright stating things like "we want our players to feel like gods as they get stronger" only a few weeks before they turn around and do that. |

2.5 on PC, 2.2 on PS5 and hovering around 4 otherwise, btw. The patch is doing about as well as a snowball in an oven  Edit: it went to 2.1 on PS5 as I was writing this |

Well i got in and progressed to the initial quest area and then went into the cave .... and its just sat on the loading screen for that cave. Might be worth holding off for now ... especially you Danno. Stay away for a bit and let me get in front

Before that I couldn’t leave town, kept rubber-banding back in. Going well so far then… Went with a rogue for this season. Seemed popular in here last time, any tips for which skills to go for at the start? Also, what’s the deal with the premium battlepasss thing? Guess I got that as part of the ultimate version. It just a one use thing then I need to buy again if I want it for the next season? |

Feels a bit weird being referred to as a hero that descended into hell in the main campaign by npcs when I am on a new level 1 character (and a different class)! |

AccidentProne I gave up because I was actually queued to get back into battlenet on the 3rd restart so I decided to just progress through the season journey for a bit. Currently level 12 or 13 and the necro is quite powerful. Bone spear is just silly op, why the fuck would I use anything else at this point. I have 3 hearts now. One fears and chills, one triggers a corpse skill every second or so while near a corpse. Literally walking through the dungeons and corpses are detonating all over. Just done a malignant tunnel and got a brutal heart but had to come off for a bit. It's feeling good so far

I now have a heart that has given me an aura of decrepify so my damage is ridonkulous. Couple this with the earlier one that was exploding corpses and now also constantly spamming tendrils. Its mental.

Its mental. This heart that casts corpse skills is kinda op at the moment. I currently have tendrils, explosion and raise minions as corpse skills and it's constantly doing them all for me. I have minions that create more corpses as well so the sustain is really good. Not gonna lie it's kinda fun. |

NO! IT IS THE WORST GAME EVER! Because I'm an idiot, I thought "skip campaign" was gonna drop me in at Level 50 so I could start fucking with the Paragon board immediately. But no. Oh, that's kind of how i thought it worked too (being a diablo noob). How does it work? Start at 0 with bonuses for areas intact and work through all that again plus the malignant stuff, or is the campaign char campaign content only and this new char is levelled via malignant stuff only? |

Exactly that. You start at 1 but after the campaign and you're now doing all that renown based stuff along with all the whispers in all areas.
You will start with 2.5 sections of you renown unlocks completed in each area so don't forget to claim them. A couple of quests in each area will bump you to 3 sections completed.
Go straight to do the malignant mission so you have the ability to start interacting with the hearts and you will get a couple of low level rings to put some caged hearts straight into.

On the plus side, I don't have to spend the first 20 minutes faffing around trying to work out how to find all the right nodes to copy in a level 50 build on a tree I've never seen before. And this way i get used to how the new skills work. Said it before but skill tree loadouts you can save, why the fuck are they not a thing? |

Premium battle pass activation is broken.
I have it from Deluxe edition but just have a button that says Purchase Premium that then spins wheels and locks up for several mins before coming back with an error code
