That is a very good discount. I still want to play 2 first, as I don't know how much I would want to go back to it after playing 3, but think I'm going to have to go ahead and order at that price.
Edit: I'm confused. Tried to purchase from Curry's on my phone and on a laptop, but neither seem to be letting me enter a code in anywhere. Shopto have it for £40, so probably should just order from there (even if it is sold out from them).
Edit 2: bah, Shopto don't seem to be accepting orders now. Nevermind. Probably wasn't going to play it soon anyway.

Currys should have an option to enter a code when you get to the step where you pick a payment type. I've used them for a few switch games at launch and they've always come on release day for me, but ymmv.

I've got the weekend cleared to binge this. I loved XC1 and its DLC to bits, but gosh darn I could not stomach XC2, and I tried to get through it about 3 times, but the characters kept driving me away.
In the end, I watched a catch up video detailing how they all fit into the timeline, so at least I'm prepped.

I thought the battle system in XC2 was fantastic, best in the series, but the rest of the game felt a little rushed (which I think it may have been?). I was going to give it another go but I think I'll just move on to XC3.

I have never felt the "magic" like I felt when playing XB1 on any of the subsequent games. I put over 200hrs into it yet I never finished X or XB2. I am worried that this will go the same route. Same thing with Metroid Prime and subsequent iterations.

XC2 non-enjoyers, did you play the Torna DLC? I think I prefer it to the base game, it helps there was 99% less Rex in it.

No Drivers from the main game (No Rex, Nia, Tora, Zeke or Morag) (Torna playables spoiler) Mythra, Brighid and Jin are playable in terms of big story-relevant characters from the main game. Minoth, Aegeaon and Haze are also playable but have less of a role in the main game. |

Apparently ater chapter 3 your entire party get cursed and turned into Nopon. You then spend the rest of the game trying to break the curse. Everyone's name has 'pon' added to it and yhe soundtrack changes to reflect your party's Nopon behaviour.
