Some good lps in that photo, but use your illusion was really only worth one good lp, instead of 2 iffy ones and Pearl Jam were poo.

Got the call I'd been dreading today.
My youngest stepbrother called while I was at work and told me my dad was in the hospital after a heart attack.
He's fine, I've spoken to him and the blood clots which caused the issue are no more, and stents were placed in his arteries feeding his ventricles to keep it from happening again. He's already feeling much better.
Horrible, but inevitable thing to go through, especially when I'm nowhere near being close enough to drive to the hospital and pay him a visit. I really do have to get my fucking passport sorted.
I have a whiskey in my hand now, and letting it sooth my worries. It's been a shitty day, but the worst is done with. At least this time.

That is quite the listing. I especially enjoyed how it gives you inky blacks in a dark room, which is definitely a feature of the DVD player and not the TV screen.
Also, a slow-mo mode “which gives you a tad bit more time between exercises”. It’s like their ad copy was dictated by a 1950’s radio announcer.

Ach, just had a cough i couldn't shake and was wheezy at night. Especially after exercise.
My peak flow was about half of what it should have been. 380-400 instead of 600+ like it used to be.
At a baseline of 520ish now so on the mend. Cycling is getting a bit easier again & i can push the hills a bit more.
Still think covid exacerbated it, so maybe i have the 'rona to thank for getting it diagnosed? Thanks covid!
Also asked for a cholesterol test. Hdl is good, total chol not so good. Going to have to behave a bit more diet-wise. 😕
I didn't think i was that bad, so we'll see how that goes.

I don't know. I didn't get anything at 40, but have the poop smear test and the psa test in the offing for next year.
Hopefully not a prostate exam via a sausagey finger up the arse these days!
