I forget names the instant someone tells me. I wake up in the morning feeling like I've been hit by a bus. I'm as flexible as sheet glass.
BUT, I can still do that 'coin snatching' thing where you balance coins on your elbow and then grab them in mid-air. Take THAT middle age, you fucking arsehole.

I have given up on Wordle and started the Guardian Quick Crossword instead.
I'm confident this will make my brain whip sharp pretty soon.

Don’t bend and touch your toes, instead pull your legs towards you whilst on the floor. Your short hamstrings and old man back will thank you.

Do we though? Do any of us actually have to get up off the floor any more? I think we've paid our dues.

And I think, if we all think about it, that rings true as well. Our bones break easier. Be extra careful with: Stairs; getting in and out of cars; standing; sat; shitting; bending; lengthening; twisting; shouting and everything else. Everyone. be careful.
Ahhh. That's where sat comes from.

But then you have to get back up off the floor. Crawl to the riser recliner chair and motors will get you up and about again!

I've noticed a very audible click coming from my left shoulder every time I put my arm back to put on a coat.
Like, it's getting quite loud now

Hah wouldn't surprise me.
It really is quite loud sometimes though - to the point my mates will wince and say, "oooohhh, bastard", yet its not causing any pain to me.
Yet.

In all seriousness, if it worries you you should get it checked, could be a sign that something's wrong with the joint.
Bones starting to grind together because the synovial fluid (had to Google that) encasing the joint is running out is no fun for anyone...
(not saying that's what's going on of course, just a possibility)

High five! Anyone?

Popped into the local Holland and Barrett to get some zinc/multivit pills and the man behind the counter said "it's good for OTHER things is zinc" and gave me a knowing look. Which means penis things.
I mumbled something about helping with immunity and eyes, but I'm of an age now where people assume it's knob related.
Which has me wondering! I'll report back in a week!

My hairline is suddenly looking a bit threadbare. Not helped by the fact I’ve been attempting to cut my own hair for the last two years and never quite got the hang of it.

Why though? Even professional hairdressers don't cut their own hair.

Think I've done my rotater cuff in, starting getting shoulder pain last Monday but worked through it as we had loads of people off sick with covid. Pain has now got much worse to the point it's affecting sleeping, was hoping it would go the other way and get better. Kind of dreading work tomorrow.
