Doesn't Steam do any kind of emulator layer on OSX like it does on Linux?
A surprisingly large number of steam games will run on linux because it uses Wine (or some variant) under the hood. I'd always assumed that applied to OSX as well.
I'd always wanted to try Daikatana, and it was given away free a few years back... but the opening level being a horrendous swamp where you have shit weapons and get killed by hard to hit flying bugs takes the fun out of it pretty fast.

TF1 is definitely more fun, but was sadly removed from game pass killing my attempts to find it.
Without buying a disc at any rate. Actually, maybe it's still on the store. Might investigate that later actually.

Patch makes such a big difference for me - no more getting kicked out of the multiplayer menu, random disconnects in matches or any failure to start matches.
Completely in love with the game again. Using Scorch a ton lately too.

The patch is PC only right? Aside from Overwatch, Titanfall has been the only FPS game recently I truly loved. Stopped around the time all these issues came out.

Missed that this had an update. How populated is this now? May have to go back to it.
To be honest though, I mostly played this for the single player. Was a great campaign, during a time when there was a bit of a drought of good FPS single-player games (although DOOM 2016 was out earlier that year). Never really played the multiplayer much.
Hopefully this increased care for Titanfall 2 means a third entry is being worked on.

All games in less than 30 seconds (all Attrition though). Multiplayer is fantastic - one of the rare games where even when I get smashed (which is often) I still have a ton of fun playing it. Seems like there's a fair spread of skill levels. |

I've played a bunch. It's just so much fun. Definitely less / no longer broken on Xbox.
I really enjoy a bit of Frontier defense for all out titan gameplay. My scorch is almost fully upgraded, just one more to unlock: exploding barrels.

Not even sure which kit to use! Honestly can't remember what my setup is but I'd suggest hanging back and using aim-down-sights and firing as if you're using a mortar. Use the gas thing and set fire to it to flush out anyone on foot. If anyone gets up close you can use the fire shield as offensive (as well as defensive). |

Yeh I remember getting right up into Titans with the flame shield up, not much they can do about it. The other thing to note about Scorch is that your own fire can hurt you so if you've got an area on fire try and avoid stepping in it.
God I've just reminded myself about that one time when using Scorch and I used the ult down this tunnel taking out 2 pilots and 2 titans with it. That simultaneous clicking noise when you kill someone, nothing else like it.

Honestly can't stop playing this as my multiplayer game lately - it's just so much fun.
Started rotating between Scorch and Tone - get much more kills as Tone but Scorch is just fun to play.
Gave Monarch a go for the first time but I've no idea what I'm doing with her.
Only downside is it's hard to get a game of anything other than Attrition - really miss playing CTF.
