Just caught the new trailer for Sonic Superstars - you toss a coin for every Sonic game but I’m confident this is a winner. They had me in the opening moments with Nack finally making his return. I always thought he was a brilliantly designed character with a lot of potential - way more than some others who for whatever reason have been popping up consistently - so very happy to see him back. Now bring back Bean. |

Looks very pretty, if they can translate the fluidity of the gameplay it has potential. The new powers look like they could be fun

It’s Sonic Generations minus the 3D stages.
And that’s excellent, I loved Generations, and any callback to Genesis-era Sonic is a good thing, but it’s not a new look or idea.

I liked it too. It wore out its welcome, but mainly because they reused what, 3 or 4 past zones for every cyberspace stage? Had they created new stages or at least a mix covering the entire history of the franchise, it would’ve been a bonafide classic.

I like the prospect of multiplayer. In retrospect Sonic 2 was best with two players (surely no one beat the special stages with a computer Tails?)

Having watched the video again, the audio has to be place holder stuff as it seems so subdued and some sounds are just missing
