Isn’t it like a VM, like you get a desktop on which you install launchers and log in with your accounts? You do not need to install anything other than GeForce now, everything else appears to be done on their side. You need to sync your Steam/Ubi/Epic games accounts semi regularly to make sure it has a record of the compatible games you own, but other than that it is all done on their servers and you just stream everything. It's fairly simple, a few logins to do along the way for some titles but smooth enough that it did not feel a drag on the small(ish) Deck screen. I want to try it later on my TV to see if it can output to 4k through the Deck as if so, that will be a huge bonus for me.

Not strictly speaking on topic but I see that the Asus ROG Ally is on sale right now and am tempted. I know there’s a new version with a bigger battery and more RAM but am wondering if it could be worth taking a punt on the 2023 Ally for £399.
Anyone got one or have any experience?
I don’t have a gaming PC or laptop so it would mostly be to use for things which aren’t on Xbox Series X. Not necessarily for the most taxing games graphically - more thinking of PC stuff which doesn’t come to Xbox.

Also, with the orignal ROG Ally do not rely on adding SD cards as I recall the ports failing was never fixed. I assume they fixed it in the X but not looked into it yet.
