I performed in a short play today. First time I've acted in over a decade. Another actor threw in a curve ball suggestion for us that wasn't in the script 5 minutes before performing, and I just had to roll with it. Then went to a tea garden and had a cream tea. Then went to Birling Gap. I joined a drama group a few years ago. I saw one of them in public and she hugged me. Pretty fucked up
Stopped going after that
But did you fhuta?

What happened to the real challenge Hanukkah? No offence lizard. Did he move over? Apparently he didn't... BUT we're trying to smoke out supposed new user Aunt Alison. I think he used to be GoodForm. Or maybe Burkey.

Tell me EVERYTHING.

I got up well before reveille and drove to Heathrow to pickup Mrs Dogbot, who is now snoozing in her own bed, jetlagged as hell.
I have the afternoon off and Major has been walked twice already today (by our friends and the dog walker), so I might play some Playstation! Yay.

As the little βun has been on a school camping thingy this week, Mrs. EMarkM and I had a day on Anglesey yesterday, which was divine. A rare opportunity these days. Ended up with dinner at a brilliant Chinese restaurant which weβve always loved, just a few minutes from home.
Today, though, Mrs. is at work, and Iβm back on the usual housework and work stuff that is my normal day.
Still managed to get a fair bit of Xbox time in, though!

Used to be part of a group, but moving away (and politics) made me lose touch. But it's where I met my partner. She was doing a role in this short play that a friend had written and asked if I was interested in one of the other roles as the writer was still looking for actors. I might get my equity card now.

Colleague from work is learning to sail and invited me to join him on a class on Lake Genevathis morning. It was bucketing down on the way down but started to clear up and was dry on the lake. I really enjoyed it, lots involved in sailing I had no idea of. Afterwards sun was out and we had burger for lunch in a beautiful wee village (Lutry) and I drove home. Now sitting falling asleep at home and trying to work.
Much more interesting than my typical Wednesday.

Yeah, sailing is pretty cool. Wouldn't mind trying that again. Had a few classes in my teens but for whatever reason didn't stick with it (probably cost)

In truth, I did think I was going to feel seasick at the beginning but it quickly subsided so no chunders thankfully! I've been out in Swiss lakes with another mate who has a wee boat but they just used the motor, this was actual sailing so I quickly realised I had no fcking idea what was going on. Most importantly I managed not to get my head caved in by the boom swinging which, with my clumsiness was in no way a given.

Went to Brighton and did all the touristy things with our Anglo-obsessed American friend. Went to Julien Plumart's for breakfast, then got macarons. Then went round the lanes and stopped off at the pavilion. Then went on the pier and introduced her to the 2p machines. Then went round the north laines after a bit of a walk on the sea front. Got lunch at Monjibello, then showed her Marks and Spencer and Boots which apparently have featured in many books she's read without knowing what they're like.
Apparently we did over 16,000 steps.

I was Julien Plumarts business manager when I lived it Brighton. One of my better customers with the freebies.
Also had the gyros van by Churchill Square in my portfolio. It's amazing I'm not fat after living there.
