Family shop, stop off at the bakers, solicitors, PO chemist, drop missus at the station, lunch for the Muppets, skateboard shopping with the Muppets and home via a couple of hours at a local skatepark, fit two catflaps, dinner for the Muppets, hit the booze, get the buggers into bed over the next hour or two and then a few hours of R&R. A woman's work is never done I tell thee.

Got woken up before 8 by my cat as usual, so got a cheeky game of Vampire Survivors in, then out and about for most of the day. Farmers market in our town, then 15,000+ steps around a localish seaside town. Medical appointment for the missus and then shops and lunch, then back home and a bit of time in the garden with the last of the sunshine.
Flitted between a couple of games and just can't be arsed playing anything new right now.
Watched Mid90s and I'm now too knackered to get off my arse and make some food.

Loads of washing up from the previous couple of days.
Went to Brighton with my other half and Dudley, and went to Julien Plumart's for croissants and cakes, bought some macaroons to takeaway.
Took Dudley for a few walks around the lanes and the pavilion while my partner had her hair cut. Listened to two long haired guys talking enthusiastically about transcendental experiences, one kept on having epiphanies about onomatopoeias and leaning backwards in amazement. Dudley looked at the man feeding the pigeons with puzzlement.
Then went round to my mum's and got her to do some tricks with him. Mum's starting to get the hang of it. Went to the local park for a walk, got mum to mostly walk Dudley and they both had a great time.
Just had egg fried rice and pork belly in a sticky Chinese sauce. Pretty knackered now.

A woman's work is never done I tell thee. Sounds like a familiarly busy Saturday. Up at 6, very annoyingly. It's ok, I'll get some gaming in. Daughter woke up 20 mins later, spent an hour arguing with her whilst trying to play GT7. Fed wife and kids breakfast, then tried to get the kids out of the door for 9.15 for swimming. Son refused, eventually gave in, so we all went to do the weekly shop before the daughter's class. Took the boy to Warhammer club, had a cuppa and cake in a cafe, somehow spent a fortune on clothes for the girl, back home for the football. Supervised the boy washing the car (the bits he did are a mess but he tried, bless), then mowed the lawn. Quick shower, then cooked dinner for all. Watched most of Teen Wolf, washed up, now waiting for the boy to go to bed before we might actually have something of an evening.

Woke up and looked at various chest of drawers and lighting fixtures for about 2 hours.
Moved some furniture and picked up a drill from my mate. Went to Tesco for lunch and dinner bits. Got some fuel and waited in stupid long line at jet wash as car is dirty. Got angry at idiot 3 cars infront spraying his car for far too long.
Came home watched Picard. Tempted to nap but dragged some more furniture over to the new place.
Had dinner which was delicious. Now watching Rugby, UFC and boxing on three screens and about to eat a donut.

Went for a massage, picked up other half from work, went for pizza for lunch, spent too long choosing and ordering frames for some prints, came home, ate donuts, watched rugby, booked train to Milan, ate dinner, watched more rugby, ate chocolate, now playing Elden Ring. Nothing special but there are worse Saturdays.

Woke up way too early considering the amount I drank last night, domestic chores, exercised, lunch, walked the dog, online shop, ironing, made dinner, watched Red Notice with the family, bit of gaming time now.

Went out in to a country park with the wife and hound, my wife's middle brother and his wife and their dogs. Long walks and lunch, then more walking. It was a glorious, warm sunny spring day here.
This evening, home encased in a gentle, soft painkiller and edible haze (all that exercise is tough on the fucked knees). Crashed on the sofa with a very happy, snoring doggy, watching (sort of) the extended Two Towers.

Been looking at houses today. Put an offer on one. Then ate a lot of meat. Clearly I’m an alpha.
Oh and now I’m watching Hellboy II. I’ve had worse days.

My weekend: Woken up 2 hours earlier than normal. Mrs makes me watch Coco. Have enough of Coco, decide to mow lawn. Lawn mower rolls back, cuts up finger. Faff about for a while with flesh stub. Finish both lawns. Get volunteered for picking up and moving furniture. Spend 7+ hours doing so. Have drinks last night. Today: smash a few hours of early morning overtime. 6+ hours of more picking up/dropping off random shit. Finger has been squashed numerous times last two days, keeps pissing out blood. Come home, smash some mimosas. Mrs says I drank too quickly. Now cooking dinner with my stub, and I have diarrhoea. Fantastic utilisation of my weekend.

Shoveling. Lots of shoveling. No bodies, though...not yet.
Nah it's a ditch for water drainage.

Woke around 10. Take all 8 of my cancer meds. Manage to keep down a hot cross bun and some red bull without vomiting. With support from the Mrs managed to negotiate the stairs and sit on the sofa. Spend a few hours with the Mrs playing 2017 wine-em-up Terroir and early access title Going Medieval.
Back to bed around 4x sleep till 6. Bowl of soup in bed, manage to keep down half a bowl. Another set of cancer meds at 8:30 which immediately put me to sleep until now.

Up early before anyone else for some peace and quiet tidying up the garage, gonna clean the bike next then strumming/mowing, unless I'm dragged into some silly mothers day blah. I daresay a visit to a skatepark will be on the cards at some point as that's the latest fad they're into, still they're not looking at screens so that's no bad thing.

Took the sprogs swimming, home for lunch, back out again to get them both new trainers, on the way picked up a couple of skateboard rails FOC I found on Marketplace, 'de-twisted' one of the boy's wall canvases and fitted two canvases and his light on the wall, trimmed my beard and now finally sat down having a bite, standard Dad Sunday really.
