I deleted Reddit from my phone this morning. It’s not just how addictive scrolling can be (and how time consuming that can get), but also that no matter what you follow, you can end up finding yourself scrolling through some nasty or shocking stuff. It’s pretty wild how your feed can go from retro gaming, animals and happy videos to videos that show people getting attacked on CCTV and strangers showing off open and untreated wounds.
I’m clearly not using it properly, but I was warned by others this kinda stuff always finds it way to you eventually.

Drove back home yesterday (4 hour journey, listening to MY music for the entire journey...bliss) leaving the wife and daughter with friends for another couple of days whilst I start on building a new (bigger) playhouse from scratch for my daughter. Bought one of those ones you put together a couple of years ago and she's outgrown it, but the wood hasn't lasted and isn't that great so not reusable. So last night was the teardown, leveling of the ground and prep work.
Managed to get a load of great wood from a lumber yard, and some new power tools for less than the cost of the old playhouse. Granted I've spent a silly amount of time planning the build, cut list and deciding on materials etc, and now have two days to build it before going back to work, but I'm looking forward to it
