Huh. Just started playing it on PC and thought it looked pretty good. The only thing I'd take issue with is the character hair looks pretty rubbish.
More disappointed by the everybody having permapants. Have we learned nothing from BG3? Free the willies!

About 3 hours in so far, killed a couple of big dudes. Having a good time with it.
Only downside of being an archer is no real point in climbing on them.

No, on a pretty decent 1440p monitor. TLoU 2 looked amazing on it for example. The lighting in this is so flat and some of the textures look awful (while some have plenty of detail). I'm sure it's a fun game but it's no looker imo. Ahhhh. Are you playing it on the Series S by any chance? No, PS5. Do you honestly think it looks like a 2024 game? |

The game is insane. I didn’t play the first so have no idea what is going on. The pawns are all completely off their rockers. The writing is absolutely hilarious and the combat is pure chaos. I’ve created Lady Jessica from Dune as a thief but I made her ass too big, couldn’t help it. Looks like a ps4 game and runs like shit but I can tell I’m going to enjoy this a lot. I’m torn on what vocation to use for me and my pawn. I was thinking archer and fighter. But tempted by a thief/mage combo.

Don't think so, I have a kick and a bow at the moment. My damage is outrageous though so I'm not sure mounting with a dagger would be worth it anyway. Need to get the dodge skill I saw in a video as well as I instinctively try and do it every time someone gets near.

I think it looks quite good in general, but sometimes the geometry has too many large flat surfaces. Also the grass looks boring somehow, not sure why.

It's still a great class choice, I'm not sure if advanced vocations may have more weapon options.
I got picked up and thrown by something earlier, thought I was dead but Pussyman was there to catch me and save me <3

Hahahahaha. I tried to make a burly fighter guy for my pawn but he’s got a really weird high pitched voice.
I already died to the goblins. That’s not a good start. It’s weird not being able to lock on or dodge.

So my 8600K isn't abysmal. I'm at 60 (capped) for the most part, dipping down to mid 40s, but I'm on a G-Sync monitor and I'm not that sensitive to frame drops. Haven't made it into the big town yet though...

Yeah it’s not the best looking game. It’s nice but the character models look a bit dated.
Not sure archer was the best choice to be honest. But I’ve got some pawns doing the heavy lifting at the moment combat wise. Just done a few small quests and got to melve.
