I’m concerned for Howard. I suspect he and Lalo might cross paths. Called it. Did have a little wobble halfway through where I thought it might go another way.

I think it was obvious when the gun appeared that nothing would happen to our two heroes. Like Howard, though, I am not convinced what was achieved by the whole ruse.

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what was added by that scene. Does Jimmy/ Saul now know the full extent of his power and throw caution to the wind? Or does he chalk it up as not his fault?
I can't help but feel slightly like they had no idea how to end this and just kinda lobbed it together.
Nacho made complete sense and was great. Sad but great. This just now feels like we're going into "shit, kill everyone off who isn't in BB territory".

Nah. Kim gets Lalo and a hoover. I think so. It's the only thing that makes sense.

The idea was that Jimmy and Kim like to pull these scams because they get off on successfully pulling off a scam. They can't get away with it without any consequences though. It backfired with Chuck. They pulled off their scam but Chuck killed himself. This time, Jimmy was starting to feel hesitant but Kim pushed to keep going. They pulled it off perfectly but there's unforeseen consequences. Quite severe ones, obviously.

Worst thing about that episode... I thought there were 6 before the mid season break. So I watched episode 6 and trust was it. Then I stupidly see a tweet by one of the writers. Didn't notice the mention of #607 in that tweet. Started scrolling through the thread. Got a bit confused on some of the stuff and started wondering if I somehow missed a lot of subtext in episode 606. Then someone mentioned "Harold going out thinking xyz" which confused me. Because Harold is alive. Then I see this question.
And it was only at that point that it clocked that there is a 7th episode I have somehow missed. *slaps forehead*

Dunno kind of feel that with the repercussions of the "succesful" plan it will be the undoing of them as a power couple. It will cause the rift to ultimately end up with them not together by BB time lines....rather than bring them together which obviously doesn't happen.
I feel that Kim will respond to this "better" than saul.

It'll be on at 02:00 UK time tomorrow on the East Coast and be on Netflix UK at 08:00 so not a huge time difference but a bit awkward if you want to remain unspoiled during the working day.

The shot of a certain RV driving past Jimmy's office was a nice Easter Egg.

Well, it played out kind of how I expected. I reckon next episode has a time jump part way through.

Amazing episode. Mad soundtrack at points and sumptuous camera work. Boys know how to do finales.

Absolutely loved that last episode. And the moment of realisation that it nicely feeds the premise for one of the most loved/hated BB episodes

Funnily enough, I rewatched Fly the other day. I can appreciate it but it's ALL character, which makes it fucking hard work.

It is quite tricky to square the Saul who is willing to have Badger shanked in prison and openly leers at Francesca with Jimmy, though.

Dude's just had one traumatic experience, I can see losing Kim tipping him back into Turbo Slippin Jimmy in a believable way
Can argue that James McGill has always been a bit of a mask as well

I loved Fly, I think it was one of the best BB episodes. It was like a play.

Great episode. Maybe opens the door to Kim's guilt getting the better of her and her turning herself in in a redemptive way of getting rid of her. Cue spin off prison drama .

Mixed opinions on the season, you have amazing performances from Nacho which have impact and then you have Lalo who became essentially a superpowered ninja villain, which feels out of place.
They created great characters but with Lalo, The Cousins and even Mike less is more. The mystique and impact declines with every episode. They become unbelievable and more of a distraction.
One of the appealing things about BB and BCS Initially was the danger felt viceral and grounded, I'm glad the Lalo and Fring storyline is complete, the Salamanca's were the least interesting element of the show. Now I just want it to wrap it up and focus on Saul.
