My dad smoked and drank his whole life and looked 50 by the time he was 30.
Nothing's going to be transformative outside of cosmetic treatment and even then, I know blokes who have had things done and you're talking minimal gains. I suppose the biggest difference were guys that have had hair transplants or their teeth done. Fuck all that tho. I had my front teeth crowned because they were fucked but I'm not having a mouthful of veneers. I couldn't afford it now anyhoo.
Dressing well also helps.

Yeah, I think presenting yourself well and confidence will do much more for your attractiveness than having less wrinkles or more hair A shaved head can look cool if you own it. A hair piece makes you look like an insecure twit
Also the rugged look is a thing

Well that’s it. You can spend lots of money buying all sorts of creams, lotions, gadgets and advice. None of its going to make any real difference.
Lifestyle choices you make are much more likely to effect your appearance over time, being it boozing and drugging for decades, (my personal choice) to working and of living in a high stress environment to the state of your diet. Plus a massive heaping of genetics.
Life perspective is going to play a big role on which things you attach importance to. Ever since I’ve been around ten I’ve wanted to look like Guinness Obi Wan in the hair and beard color front.
Anyone thinking about any of this terms of bullshit notions of alpha and beta are doomed to feelings of inadequacies, regardless of where they view themselves on that entirely fake construct

It was a piss take. Terribly sorry for mistaking this interchange for good natured ribbing.
Jeez.

Absolutely. Without tooting my own horn (TOOT TOOT) I get more compliments on how I dress than anything else. Your face is your face and as long as you sort of look after it, nothing much is going to transform it, unless you go all in.
Wearing decent clothes that fit well and compliment your figure will make a big difference. Don't be a schlub in joggers and a footy t-shirt like 90% of the middle-aged guys out there.
Also, don't wear CP Company, Stone Island or Moncler because cunt reasons.
Present company excepted.

Ah. Sorry. It doesnt matter then. Just need a new shirt. Didn't realise it was so simple. Thank you for the psychological wake up call. How humbled do I feel.

People think you have money if you dress well, which I suppose makes the most difference in perception and how you're treated. It's all very shallow, but there you go.

Not doing it for other people. Couldn't give a shit about them. Does that help?

Score another couple of internet points for the self-proclaimed alphas. 😁 We all know the true alphas are those that don't give a fuck what anyone else thinks innit.

Throwing out all your old comfy staples and getting a new wardrobe can make a difference. Also, decent colognes that aren't too heavy/cloying and young and what everyone else is wearing (SAUSAGGGE).

Not doing it for other people. Couldn't give a shit about them. Does that help? FWIW, it does help with confidence, in my experience. Not just getting compliments from others, even just looking in the mirror. I feel good if I dress well and my hair is styled just right. Doesn't make the crows feet by my eyes go away when I smile though.

Whilst I do broadly agree with much of what you are saying, unless it's a hat or bandana, I'm not sure how it's going to help with the forehead wrinkles...

If you put enough weight on your skin will smooth out on its own.

I actually feel pretty good about myself now. Having struggled with body dismorphia that manifested as bulemia and anorexia through my teens and twenties (but I'm male so it's not a "thing" you dared discuss), I'm actually in a pretty good place. I used to throw up until bile came out and all the blood vessels around my eyes burst. I dropped down to under 6 stone at one point and I'm over 6 foot. I just wanted to see if these wee wrinkles were reversible or if they're settling in for good. If they are they are. I went bald about 10 years ago so I am quite prepared to embrace ageing, but wondered if I could take better care of my skin just now.

For a few minutes, perhaps 😂
Everyone cares, to varying degrees about how they look. Even unhoused people living under tarps tend to make some effort. Being shat on by a horrific social order isn’t strong enough to wipe out millions of years of evolutionary bias.
Trying to erase the physical results aging doesn’t tend to have the desired effect, imo. Anyone ever look at a guy in their fixities of older with richly colored hair and not a streak of grey and think ‘that looks legit?’
There’s plenty to be done to change or enhance you appearance. But to erase aspects of it? Not going to succeed unless you have access to the best plastic surgeons in Hollywood AND know when enough is enough.

If you want rid of bigger wrinkles and not fine lines, the only thing that will make any real difference is fillers or Botox.
Botox is supposed to work best if you start young and it stops the wrinkles from forming in the first place, ie it just stops you from frowning. It's less effective when you're older.
Filler is essentially replacing the youthful fattiness of your skin. This is why some fatter people (soz non pc) can look younger in their face because the fat is literally filling out their wrinkles.
Also, black don't crack. Try being black.

The world can be a weird place and what you dislike someone loves. I dated someone who though Sean Connery was attractive because he had such a lined forehead. Yeah. I know.
So don’t knock it. Look after yourself, don’t try and hide what’s what and you’ll be alright. If you’re going grey, go grey. If you’re feeling a bit run down look after yourself and knock the poor diet on the head for a while and give yourself a bit of a break.

Look at Tom Hardy. His forehead literally couldn't have more frown lines, it's like a deep-woven lattice of them. Years and years of his method scowling have done that. He also looks like he smells bad.
Makes ladies lose all their knickers.

You might not reverse much, if any damage already done but you can arrest the process. Like others have said, a mask once a week, wash, tone and moisturise morning + night and try to identify and eliminate frowning (e.g. I squint at my monitors a lot, so I have the double butt cheeks beyween my brows) will go a long way. If nothing else, you'll feel better* for doing it *like an ickle pwincess

anephric Not heard of lab series before. I'll maybe give it a go. Use lady products. They're generally nicer to your skin and you can easily get unscented stuff, whereas as the bloke stuff is always loaded with sandalwood or some other fragrance just in case you forget you have a dick.
