Not sure I can work out where the benefit is to you in getting it all into one. 1 combined pension won’t be an improvement unless one of the two you have is investing in shite.

One combined pot is the way the government seems to want to take it for everybody. I'd rather be in control of it now than wait for the inevitable clusterfuck whenever they try introducing a pot for life. Hopefully won't happen while this inept shower are still in power.
I definitely prefer one pot anyway. Only one set of fees, much easier to keep track of and keeps things simple for any beneficiaries if you croak.

It might be one set of fees but they’re almost certainly totalling the same amount of money combined as they are separate.

Just found out that my washing machine was using far too much washing liquid. Just messed around with the settings and cut it by nearly half

Isn’t the amount of liquid dictated by how much you put in? Machine has automatic dosing, you fill a reservoir and it weighs the washing and uses the appropriate amount of liquid. Only problem is that it's been set at 75ml, after checking the back of the bottle it only needs 40ml for the size of load and water hardness.

It’s about £25 over the year. Which is better in my pocket than literally down the drain

That's a whole 48 pence a week, madness.
Is the private jet to Bora Bora booked yet?

You can add to that saving by ditching socks and pants. Haven't worn either in years and racked up some insane air miles as a result.

Didn’t even know that was a thing. I’ve always just filled the cap from the liquid and chucked it in the drum with the clothes.

I tend to eyeball it. Smaller wash gets half a cap.
Annual y-front wash gets two caps to cut through the grime.

Car insurance renewal has arrived .. it's £7 cheaper than last year at £379 for the year. I wasn't expecting that.
I can't even be arsed to shop around for a better deal.

Mine was still about £60 more expensive, even after shopping around. Home insurance similar. Wankers.

£164 more expensive for me. 44, working from home, rarely using the car these days. Sigh. Renewal quote for a Golf GTI came in at £584. Absolutely disgusting.
Compare the market suggests I can get it for £312 which will do, but it's with one of those no-names. I take it there's no harm in going for Geoff's Insurance as long as it ticks the boxes, compared to one of the big hitters?

My pension pot has been drifting into a bit of a dip since CrowdStrike, which of course coincided with the first time I've ever opted to put some of my bonus into it... Cunts!
Need to stop checking it multiple times a day!
