Broder Daniel - Whirlwind
Heard this in a movie and was sure it was a Britpop band or something I had on a compilation album back in the day.
Turns out it's a Swedish alt rock band from around the same time, so goes to show what I know.

Being a huge Idles fan, I'm listening to the new album Crawler -
Can't get enough of these guys, and finally saw them live at Eden Project this September and it was one of the best gigs I've been too!

I always start off liking their albums because they, basically, brute force their way into your head and then stepping back when I actually listen to the slightly route one lyrics.

Rhythm Nation is such a great album. I just wish I wasn't genetically incapable of spelling the word 'rhythm'. Thank god for spell checkers.
Discovered another ace band on youtube, via the route of indie movies. Love this song. Currently checking out their other stuff.

If you like psychedelic rock pop with a touch of prog, you won't get any better than Pond. This track is a classic and the video is rather good too. Perth is a proper musician centre at the moment
