Treated myself to Portishead's second album (my fav out the three but I love them all) on vinyl.
Oh my.
Also, you've got to go far to top Cowboys as an album opener.

Love Portishead.
I could listen to Beth Gibbons sing the phonebook and still be utterly entranced.

My first ever Elbow album (based off my love for Doves and the fact they are mates), I opted for Asleep in the back as this was the debut. Only heard once so far but I am impressed.

Kelly Jones Inevitable Incredible. New album, only heard once so far but I like it, it is very "laid back" like most of his solo stuff and actually a good deal of Stereophonics is more reserved now. I love his voice so all good.
Focus The midnight special version (on YT) of Hocus Pocus, Yodelling aside feck these are 4 great musicians, with the drummer and Jan Akkerman on guitar being on fire.

Going to try Dea Matrona this afternoon whilst working from home as we have tickets for Leeds tomorrow night.
Not going for them as much as Fiona-Lee who is the daughter of friends and she has just signed to a label under EMI and released her first single this week.
Watched her coming up through for a few years now and hope she gets some wider success.
