Asda have done the shittest licensing of Elf. It's clips from the film pasted into Asda shops. Fucking dreadful.

Watching a bunch of stuff on All4 recently and every time I do I feel its worth repeating that this app has the worst ad delivery of any tv app I’ve used.
Start programme = full length ad break
During programme = multiple full length ad breaks
Stop programme then try to restart it = full length ad break
Fast-forward or rewind = ad roulette with possible full length ad break every time you return to normal play
Pause programme = screensaver is a advert

All4's adverts put me off watching most shows on there. My love for Taskmaster is enough for me to put up with it there, but can't be bothered with anything else, even though I would really like to watch The Handmaid's Tale and a couple of other things.

Had youtube on and went to the toilet. Came back to a 42 minute "ad" didn't look to see what it was but some guy on a stage doing a press conference.

There’s a 20 second Paramount+ advert on youtube at the moment and its always unskippable. I immediately check out of any video it plays on because it feels so much longer.

There is a Cunard one, and the gist of it is you could live your live doing and having anything you want. Obviously it suggests relationships of a living nature are at your choice. Which seems fucking cruel. Also, if I can anything I want with no consequences, I am going to murder people first. Then eat them. Then dance semi naked in the Houses of Parliament, in a weave of their sinews and those three bones in your ear drums. Obviously I will need to kill and eat a lot of people, which would make getting a costume to fit wouldn’t work, I’d be getting fatter at a far more expansive rate. Fuck you Cunard, you cannot satisfy my needs. Though that might be for the best.  |
