I don't think it's an annoying ad, but rather an impressive piece of advertising effect, that after more than 15 years I still feel the need to try and find Jif Lemon for this Tuesday.

This. Horrendous. So horrendous I actually think it sort of succeeds - it's got people (well you and I at least) talking about it. They know they're not exactly fine dining and they're doubling down on it. i avoid live tv mostly so can skip ads but i saw this last night and came to post about it. wtaf!!! nobody should be allowed to make noises while eating under punishment of death. |

That took me back. There’s something of a lost art to road side restaurants - now you get your all in one deals with a McDonald’s and a KFC but back in the day you would plan your trip around hitting the one place that kicked the shit out of all the bullshit Welcome Break stops on route.
Lost on my older brother though. One trip saw him actually say to my parents “I wanted a McDonalds and you give me a pathetic Little Chef? Not good enough!” And somehow he lived through it without a thick ear? No justice.

Yeah it started coming back on a couple weeks ago. Still annoying.
Noticed a lot of YouTube ads have the skip ad option appear after 6 seconds only to basically be a fake and it then goes to another ad.

There is one for a toilet cleaner. Some guy goes all zen in his bathroom, to get a state of relaxation. Presumably to read the paper in peace, but then a woman comes in, chucks him out and starts clogging the basin with a chemical substitute. Poor man.
