Gaetz has said that if the Dems work with the Rs to come up with a moderate speaker he’ll resign. It would be nice but let’s be honest, he’s putting in the face saving for when he has to flip back to McCarthy after all his “never ever ever ever I won’t I won’t I won’t” talk.

This is beyond ridiculous, they're reaching numbers of voting rounds that haven't been seen since a century and a half ago more or less...
And for what? Suppose he does get elected, with the amount of things he had to promise to the 20 or so fuckups that wouldn't vote for him, we'd just get the same exact scenario with every proposed bill: a couple dozen hardliners stonewalling everything until they get what they want, votes of no confidence in the Speaker every other week (one of his promises apparently was reinstating the one vote vacancy, meaning that anyone could wake up and choose to have a vote to vacate the Speaker seat) and obstructionism on every level...

Gaetz seems to have fucked McCarthy over by one vote (he voted last for the drama, too, the cunt) and now half the party is trying to get him to change his vote. It's almost about to break out into a full on fight.
This is actually just a clown show and the circus is the fucking Congress floor. The GOP has desecrated that building more than any war. And that includes that one time it got torched.

Guns are heavy and the kickback is harsh even on adults. So, for this 6 year old to successfully hold and fire a gun, with enough aim and experience to actually hit someone and wound them, then it is absolutely not the first, second, third or tenth time he's held a gun.
