It's almost a shame they didn't go the whole hog with this - get Scott Baio and Jon Voight involved, and really make it a who's who of Hollywood dipshits.
But yeah, it's totally gross regardless, and Kotaku don't get any brownie points for their nudge-wink, "The gaming link is super tenuous, but we're gonna cover it anyway" shtick.

Trump’s response, his lawyers responses, both on TV and in court filings, and current MAGA world arguments / talking points, might just be the dumbest thing in the news in the last several years, which is a high fucking standard.
Their defense is that the FBI took the documents out of cartons where they were stored, and placed them for the dramatic effect for the photo….which yes, yes they did.
They took the top secret classified documents, including information about US spies and nuclear secrets, from Trump’s desk, where he was illegally holding them, and put them on the floor.
Tomorrow is going to be nuts.

I feel like they could probably label books on LGBTQIA+, that doesn't seem like it's too censorious or bad as a compromise. It would make it easier for parents and kids to find them!

It’s Bonner’s Ferry, they’re barely big enough to warrant their own Subway. North Idaho has always been crazy town, but they’re getting zero traction where it matters. They tried the same thing at the Boise library and got roundly told to fuck off by everyone.

Public, but the same tactic is being used with mixed results against school libraries. As soon as a school library bans something (or tries to) it results in a massive surge in the local bookstores and public libraries anyway, so the net result is more attention on the books.

Yeah I was going to say, it'd be trickier for school librarians to say "nope, sorry, we're keeping the books" given that they answer to school boards and such. Public libraries have a lot more power to shape their collection the way they want.
Still, good that there's been some pushback.
