So trump said that Cheney should be shot in the face...
Yeah... guy is unhinged and will do whatever he can to have everyone who pissed him off punished.

There’s also a class of Republicans that you could categorise as “Once only Trumpers” Republicans that voted for Trump the first time, but won’t vote for him again; and they’d also like the MAGA mob to give them their Republican Party back. Most of them say they won’t vote for him, and a small subset say they’ll actively vote against him. And this is especially true when you look At Republican women.

If I had to put money on it, I suspect Harris may win by more than the polls expect. Because two of Trump's "Strategies."; negate each other. He's courting the votes of young men, who are already a demographic who are less likely to actually go out and vote. He's also seeding a narrative for if he doesn't win, which involves ignoring the reality that it may be a tight race and posturing as though victory is a foregone conclusion. Further demotivating the voters he's trying to reach.

Time for a quick quiz. Which of the candidates said the following at a rally today:
"They don't want windows. They don't want cows. They don't want anything. They don’t know what they want,"

All sounds very plausible and we have heard similar from plenty of other people. Can't see the testimony of the dead convicted sex offender Epstein making that much of a difference to those that have ignored everyone else saying it.

I'd certainty heard it said that they fell out because Epstein thought Trump screwed him over in a business deal. I can't really see the point in dropping this so close to Election Day though.

Part of me is starting to feel slightly more optimistic the closer we get to it. The Trump campaign has a lot of noisy supporters but all the energy seems to be evaporating. I know he’s polling well but he is acting like he’s on the backfoot, he’s not driving the agenda like in previous elections. Plus he looks like he’s visibly deflating with every public appearance. His base will hold obviously but there are (fuck knows how) undecided voters in swing states and they’re really the only ones who matter at this point. I’m not sure his increasingly tragic rallies are going to turn them onto him. Lots of nervous moments and dirty tricks between now and the outcome but I think the undecideds (as voters in general are) are most likely small-c conservatives and that inherent yearning for stability will win out. It’s what I’m kind of sensing too. Feels to me that Trump's campaign is struggling and that internal polling for them isn't good. They're on the back foot and are now lashing out and making things a lot worse and compounding the effect. They're already on 'stole the election' outburst. I don't think they'll be doing that if things were good. Possible it is being said to set up a narrative for them but my gut is saying that things aren't, thankfully, looking good for them. I think the Roe vs Wade is such a big thing that it lost the republicans the election two years ago let alone now. There’s going to be a huge upswing of women voters this time round. It was damaging for the republicans in the mid terms and they’ve done nothing but double down. The Puerto Rico comments I think have probably killed any remaining enthusiasm too.

Maybe not, but a Trump victory will seal its fate... And it's still a global superpower, so it'll probably screw over the rest of us in time as well.
Not that all is solved if he loses, mind, I just like our/their chances better with him having fucked off.

Apparently 1 in 8 women say they've secretly voted differently from their partners (presumably telling them Trump then voting for Harris). I couldn't possibly imagine why, in such a healthy and inclusive culture such as...
There are entirely too many things wrong with those statements, so I'll just say fuck all y'all, I hope your guy loses so bigly that it breaks whatever is left of his brain.

And for something greatly more sobering (TW: multiple needless young deaths) www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/nov/01/teen-dies-abortion-ban-texas-neveah-crain(the quote is from a different article about the same incident, if you can't find it in the Guardian's that's why) If any person, especially women, can read this and the many, multiplying stories like this coming out, and still willingly vote for Trump and the psychopaths that created the laws leading to them, they're beyond saving and deserve everything a Trump victory will deliver them. I'm sorry but I'm done feeling sorry for or accepting the bastards that want this shit. Fuck. All the way. Off.

youtu.be/tOYCzEftW4g?t=223&si=uxlJXKgQ3o9jLBPySaw this earlier and has some quite hopefully numbers from the early votes. The ranges are massive, but showing in favour of Harris. Supposedly early votes do normally lean more towards Democrats and there was a similar picture in 2016 for Clinton, but Republicans have been trying to encourage their supporters to early this time around. Ps - it's great YouTube now allows you to copy a link with a start time rather than having to manually add it on!

He's almost certainly lost Pennsylvania at least, and by quite a margin.

He's almost certainly lost Pennsylvania at least, and by quite a margin. If that's correct then it will be extremely unlikely for trump to win the election from what I read. Whoever takes Penn has 90 percent chance of winning enough votes to get past 270. 4 days remaining. It's Wednesday morning for me when booths are closing and media starts calling states. WFH and going to be watching live. Should be fun.

Isn't he winning (in the polls) in the majority of those 7 swing states that they've been going on about as being key?
