I bought the 30th Anniversary stuff but be aware you've got to grind the Dares of Eternity before you can unlock most of the cosmetics.

They are binning planetary materials after this season so that's at least one less bit of mess for new/returning players to decipher.

I do love a bit of Arc Warlock/Crown. Really needs a buff compared to other Arc 3.0 classes though. Not sure it does to be honest, have a look at that video. I find it a lot better than my hunter arc 3.0 build

I have a good stats build on my Sentinel, but because I never raid, I don't have access to raid weapons, which kinda limits my options. It's fine for me though, since the activities I play don't really require specific builds, outside of champion mods.
Also, I haven't played much during this season so far. Been busier with other games... and real life. Hopefully I'll be fine by the time Lightfall comes out.

It's very hard to look past Titan at the minute for Arc. It's so powerful. And those grenades are the bane of PvP.
To be fair I did an Arc Warlock only King's Fall last night and it was surprisingly a cakewalk so maybe it's not all bad.

So the intro quest to Festival of the Lost is bugged. At the step where you need to turn 2 Spectral pages into 2 Manifested pages, it takes the former out of your inventory, but doesn't return the latter.

Also, you can kill up to 10 Headless Ones per mission. But you need to wait until the 5 minute timer is up, even if you kill all 10 in less than that.

Can't believe the thumb twiddling at the end due to the time limit is still there. Well, I mean I can believe it... Classic Bungo!
Ruffians are slightly fixed now at least. They don't despawn when you hit 100%, and there's a 7% chance of an extra one spawning.

Got a couple of raids earlier in the week, I'm happy to jump on after them if you fancy a run Tues/Weds but it would probably be like 9-9.30ish before I'm free.

Now that things are less hectic, I'm trying to get back into this a bit. At least for a couple evenings per week. Still only have enough time to play the playlist stuff, which makes me think I might as well skip the next season pass too.
I wish they would remove Battlegrounds from the Strike playlist. They are almost invariably terrible. Good for bounties though, I'll grant them that.
Did I read right that they are removing all planetary materials next year? Does that include Baryon Boughs? Guess I need to spend them soon.

I'm still waiting patiently for my Graviton Lance catalyst to drop.
Sigh.
Meantime, I'm having a hell of a good time with solar. Using Sunbracers and speccing for scorch recharging my melee whilst using an incandescent levelled up Calus Mini Tool means the loop for fighting off a load of adds goes: Powered melee, chuck 4-5 grenades about, if that doens't instantly recharge my melee again then blast a few with the mini tool, with the scorch then recharding my melee, do a powered melee, chuck 4-5 grenades rinse and repeat.
It's absolutely horrific. For them. I can pretty much make any battleground an absolute inferno in a short space of time.

Sunbracers are excellent fun. Becomes a challenge to see how quickly you can spam grenades. Crafted mini tool is so much fun for solar builds too. You're tempting me to switch back to a solar lock now!
I've been mainly using the seasonal sidearm with my hunter. Feeding frenzy and enhanced voltshot is pretty ridiculous for add clear in low level stuff. Kind of annoying when you need to give it up for champion mods (that system needs a serious overhaul!)
Anybody following the latest Telesto news? Nobody seems to know what it means. Would be awesome if we get another secret mission.

Paul Tassi and Aztecross (YouTube) have put up a couple of speculation videos about Telesto now firing constellation patterns!? Who knows. Could be an interesting community challenge.

I've only recently swtiched to maining solar over void and yeah, it really is a game changer. It's mental how quickly you can mow through content so long as there are low level adds to keep the melee charging and enabling you to keep spamming grenades.
I have also been enjoying arc a bit more too. Getaway Artist for an arc soul friend (that I believe is getting buffed soon) is great. For that I use Thunderlord, Night Watch and have a lovely Sweet Sorrow, but I want to get a crafted one. Think it only drops in psi-ops battlefields?

I never actually tried that one out, despite absolutely loving the season of the splicer auto rifle. It can be focussed at the war table too IIRC, but yeah, you'll need to do battlegrounds aplenty!

Barely touched them as well. Too much other shit to do! I was going for the Season of The Haunted title but still got a bit to do for that so might sack it off for a bit and focus on the battelgrounds... I love that auto rifle. A crafted one would be the nuts.

Yeah, void kinda got the short end of the stick in terms of potential damage (at least for Sentinels). It's more of a support/defensive build. I do enjoy being able to have a recharging overshield very often thanks to barricades, etc. But in terms of damage, even with grenades setup to create wells to increase my void weapons damage and then recharge themselves via chain explosions, it's just not fast enough to create a reliable loop unless you are in a very dense activity (Altars for example). Invisibility with finishers is also a bit less reliable than it should be, since finishers are quite slow. And nobody ever shoots through my banner shield. Bungie needs to do something to make sure that people realize when a Titan is not running bubble, because people won't care otherwise.

A new community event started yesterday. You can play activities to collect treasure to donate and improve the Fallen quarters.
But seems Bungie should have made the goals a little harder to reach, because they have been all cleared in one day. And this despite the fact that D2 right now is at its lowest player count on Steam yet. Oh well. Guess there must be lots of people on consoles though.

Makes a change from them having to 'adjust' the progress behind the scenes because they misjudged it and progress was so slow we'd never get there. With the glitch on Treasure Co-ordinate mats it's possible to cheese your donations to get the entire reward track in about 20 minutes without leaving your menus. Which may have had something to do with the community goals getting finished so fast. youtu.be/0lNgFSPQbkwCan't say I'm bothered it's a v weak event at end of an equally weak season.

Ah, the planetary mats donation wasn't unlocked when i used that method this morning. Yeah no wonder the community goal was smashed today.
I wouldn't have had enough mats to do that anyway, already got rid of most buying Upgrade Modules or converting to shards.

Heh, I just logged on, spent a moment looking for the donate button (second page always catches me out) and then handed in a bunch of planetary mats and claimed all of the rewards. All done in the space of a minute.
Interesting that they've massively reduced the requirements for the seasonal title now... Could've saved myself a lot of pain!

New season is almost upon us. Rumor is that it will involve Rasputin and the Vex. I've played very little in Haunted and Plunder (only got to rank 54 and 45, respectively). Let's see if this is gonna get me back in tow. Just in case, yesterday I went and completed a few quests I had left dangling. Now I have all the Stasis aspects, the rank 45 weapon, and the Vanguard special weapon. Can't reset my rank because I don't feel like using up my enhancement prisms, and I already have a full stack of Ascendant Shards anyway. Bungie really needs to let me throw away rewards.

I wasn't that keen on the pirate and fallen shit. It makes sense it would involve the vex seeing as how we haven't had them yet. Totally forgot this was happening this soon. Talking of stasis aspects, I never finished getting all them.

Talking of stasis aspects, I never finished getting all them. Anyway, I've kinda stopped caring about the story stuff, quality has been down the drain for a while. The last cutscene in particular was completely disjointed from the rest of the season, from what I've heard. Whatever, guess they needed an excuse to get Osiris doing hot robot yaoi sex... or something like that. On a side note, Stasis aspects are a lot easier to get now, though they still feel somewhat grindy. I played seven strikes yesterday morning, and got the last four quests done in one go. I've been having my fun with Stasis lately. Sometimes I equip it just for kicks, which I never do with the other two elements (I've been a Void follower since D1).

I got this recently. Tried to visit most locations and have a go at everything. Not yet run into whichever NPC is tasked with explaining what the hell is going on, or why, or how, but none of that really matters when everything is so pretty.
