I'd imagine they will be setting up whatever is next, tying off any loose ends and maybe even doing something like Age of Triumph again to send the game as we know it off.

Vow is definitely my favourite raid, visually. The first two encounters let it down a bit somewhat. First one was great fun working out day 1 but is a bit of a slog now, second one is a similar deal. 3/4 are great though.
DSC is the best for me.

Love DSC too I just wish they'd have gone in a bit more with the Clarity Control and deep lore stuff in there. The encounters were great as encounters but felt quite detached from the history and story the location had to tell. That's where Vow got it absolutely spot on and hopefully the Raids going forward do as well.

I still don't really know what was going on in that encounter. Thankfully I didn't have to do anything until that last part wherein I grabbed the shield and ran around cleansing my teammates until they got the door open. I have no idea how people figure some of this raid stuff out. It's incredibly complex to my simple brain.

Solid-SCB- Are you free this evening or perhaps tomorrow evening for Duality good sir? What sort of time are you usually on? I've got a couple of raids over the next few days which will knock me out for an hour each evening but other than that I'm happy to help any time around that of an evening.

I think we got through the first room quite quickly, the second after a bit of a struggle and then started working under the assumption that we were working under the video game 'Rule of 3'. When we walked into that 4th room after god knows how long we were so done mentally! Best LFG group I've ever been in though. We had about 2 hours worth of connection issues during encounter 1, then had to re-do the 1st encounter entirely after we completed it and it bugged out and didn't give any rewards from the chest/didn't unlock the door to progress and no-one left or moaned the entire time.

I'm raiding at 8 tonight but I don't see it being much longer than an hour looking at the group I'm in. So if you're still around after that we can get started and pick up from a checkpoint the day after if you run out of time? I'll be about most of the weekend too during the evenings.

The worst bit was those fucking stairs on the left side of the third room. Just getting annihilated by sniper hobgoblins D: We had so many runs fail right at the end of the last room too. Manic encounter.

Solid-SCB-Thanks again man. Bet you didn’t think it would take multiple evenings! I can only apologise for playing horrendously shit. I swear I was nearly lobbing my controller at the tv last night. Much better this evening though, and I’m not going to lie, I cheered when we finally did it.

All good fun. Once we'd talked through the kinks it actually only took 2 attempts and the bonus is you now have that crucial 100 Res stat to take into other activities. So very constructive sessions really.

You know what, out of the 100s of D1 and D2 hours, I'd never actually bothered to go through and sort my armour out to maximise the stats I wanted / needed. So for the very first time, I actually took proper time to go over my armour and mods! So thanks for that. As you say, all very constructive. Quite an eye-opener though when your son ends up staying alive longer than you do...

I'd try looking up some decent builds for your class/subclass of choice when you get a bit of time too. You'd be amazed at just how much more powerful and survivable you become with a few tweaks here and there and the correct synergy of mods. The game really steps up to another level when you've got a build doing what you want it to do.

Look at aztecross and plunderthabooty on YouTube Wunty, they are great for builds. At a guess are you playing warlock?

I'm Void Warlock 4 life but I've been having massive amounts of fun messing around with the Arc Titan over the last couple of days. Those storm grenades are a joke, especially when you've got them on constant regen.

That's my titan build, quite often finishing Ketchcrash with over 150 kills with it. Only problem is I'm a terrible shot with thundercrash

I got some other advice as well about the charged with light mods and that also helped. Managing to get mods on my armour that essentially resulted in an increase in resistance once charged with light and after having my shield depleted. Think that also had a hand in keeping me alive. Definitely going to look more into this now. I always looked too closely on the offensive, ignoring the defensive aspects.

As an aside, I know the boy wants to try get a bit more loot from duality and i wouldn't mind so if you fancy another run this week let me know! I'm confident in now
a) staying alive during it and b) being able to finish it a lot quicker now me and the boy know what to do

Set the wife's lock up on this build. It's arc and requires crown of tempests but it's very easy going on the mods. You will have almost unlimited grenades and an outrageously long super and fast recharge. It's stupidly fun to play. youtu.be/r5cit1_9nrQ

I do love a bit of Arc Warlock/Crown. Really needs a buff compared to other Arc 3.0 classes though.

Come back to this after the initial rush of Beyond Light and the new/returning player experience is still as nuts and completely incoherent as ever. After slogging my way through my vault and trying to work what the current story line is I'm finding that my fun is now being limited by the roulette of mods. Is there an easier way to obtain the things now?
All moaning aside, I'm having a ton of fun blowing everything up, it's as gorgeous as ever. I bought Witch King and the current season. Is the 30th Anniversary stuff worth a punt for a tenner?
