Gonna put this out there - who wants to do an EG run of Vow of the Disciple? Sounds like me and Solid would be able to guide/explain, anyone else want in? We can do it chill and doesn't even have to be in one sitting.
Minimum level is 1530 though I'd recommend 1541+ (can include artifact) ideally as the final encounter is at 1550.

I'm very much on board with that. Even if we can't make a full Fontgeek 6 I'm sure either of us would be able to pull some extra hands from our roster.

I'm not playing much, so only at 1528 so far. If I can get up to a decent level I might be interested.

I'm more than happy to help anyone with Pinnacle activities to help get up to level if they need it too.

You've got plenty of time - we can just wait until everyone interested has hit the required level and then go for it.

OK, the strat for Encounter 3 seems way more reliable now. The players that can see one set of glyphs are the ones holding relic or with the relic cooldown, and then non relic players see the other set. What you do is just clear the room completely of adds, then send someone back to the correct side and read both sets of symbols while the others stay at the door to input them. It's *much* cleaner and less chaotic.

Sounds a lot more manageable. The timing was so fucking tight in contest and combined with the more difficult enemies, it lead to so many mass panic callouts that ended up giving us the wrong symbols to shoot.

Yeah, because the glyphkeeper death is what spawns the time extension add, you can just try to take it methodically, kill the first two and start working on the rest and kill the time extender as needed. Progress, kill the next two, time extend and send 2 people back while everyone else mops up adds.
I think it's *probably* how you'd want to approach master as well though it would take some optimisation.

Hope someone can help
I played for 3 hours last night and didn’t get a anything above 1500 apart form an emgram - is there a reason for that? Played the Beyond Light campaign solo last night and it was gradually coming up but tonight not one piece of gear higher than 1500
We played the 3rd mission of Witch Queen on Legendary, with just the two is us it was Rock hard, my mate died when matey was on his last bit of health 😭

Items over 1500 up to 1550 only drop from certain activities that are marked with a yellow circled star on the map, and every now and then randomly in form of a Prime Engram that you need to decrypt at the Cryptarch. Items with 1551 to 1560 power only drop from activity rewards (again, yellow star) marked as "pinnacle".

Psychogenic Intel, man. How do I get it? Thought it would surface from activities on the Throne World, or the campaign quests, but nope. Bit annoying if I need to do 3 lengthy PsiOps plus another bunch of crap per week to progress Operation Elbrus.

Cheers, I was playing the Witch Queen on legendary with a mate who was getting items higher than 1500 but I wasn’t though, luck of the draw? I did get a Prime engram though.

If you grab one of the first unlocks on the doodad at the war table in the helm you'll just get it randomly as you play. I picked that first and I've never had to go out of my way to grind for it anyway. At least I think that's the same currency you're talking about. It's a confusing mess!

You're probably at max Intel (2000, check your inventory), at which point it doesn't drop anymore, so you can't progress the quest step where you need 500 Intel. Either complete a PsiOps (opening the second chests costs 500 Intel) or scrap the stack you have, you'll earn that back in no time (I believe a public event gave me 400).

If it says world drops, you'll lelvel up faster if you fill those low slots before doing activities that reward Powerfuls (find those in the Director as already said).

To get above it, you need drop from "powerful" sources, which include the Prime Engram you saw. When you're on the director, stuff with that little gold medallion next to it is stuff which will give you powerful rewards, which can bump you up to 1550. Once you hit 1550 you'll need pinnacle rewards, those get you to 1560. Pro tip, the campaign is harder with more players as the adds get tankier rather than there being more of them. I recommend staying solo, and a trio is a nightmare.

Trials is AR this week, then IB next week. Presumably the new scout lands the week after - khanivor that would be a good week to take you flawless probably if you can hit powerful cap or a bit higher by then.

Protip, there's an exploit you can do with psiops battlegrounds if you get the cosmodrome: grab both chests immediately, and with a speed enhancement or two (lightweight frame gun, transversive steps, etc), run back to the previous zone (where the zone change thing comes up) then turn around and come back. If you do it right, youll get teleported back to the chests and open them again for 4x chests per run.

So I’ve just finished Beyond Light, is it much of a grind to get parts for your Stasis subclass? Hope the terminology’s correct 🤣

Last time I tried, it was a massive grind. Getting kills on slowed enemies is hard. I think however, if you have a gun with Chill Clip, it's easier nowadays.
Can't play Beyond Light anymore now that they removed it from GP, so I'm not really sure.

Yeah, it's a bit of a ballache but much better now that there are a few stasis weapons in the game. Think I've still got a couple of active strike quests that I should probably finish off.

Slowing is easy on Voidlock, just use the grenade that slows and wait until Grenadier is on rotation in the strike playlist.
Champion Stasis kills is also manageable by using Finishers on them with the Stasis subclass equipped, which counts as a Stasis kill.
But yeah, fuck those overly grindy quests.
