Shopping around for a copy and found on eBay that multiple people are actually selling services for completing license tests at gold...? Prices range from £1 for each B license challenge to £8 for S-10.
Can't post a screenshot on phone but 2 show up not far down eBay listings for GT7.

Blimey, I've golded the licenses up until about 50% of IA and I'm not that good, paying someone to do it when all gold gets you is an extra car seems mental.
S-10 is a handful but I'd rather keep my cash.

I very much doubt the staff doing cars or menus are doing the networking, PD seems to be a weirdly managed dev but not that bonkers. Can confirm the Tomahawk exploit is dead and I look forward to getting a small coin pile from the two six star tickets you get from the new menus. Free Radical as well but I had already bought one.
edit : watching Kie25 it seems lobbies are more reliable at joining and seem to be working better, bugger all new basic functionality though.

Completed the new Kei car menu and it was more fun than I was expecting considering you're driving low power cars. The Willow Springs variant layout used was pretty good too.
Made a start on the Gr 1 using my Living Legend so not had to shell out.

Not sure how that happened. These are so rigged it's ridiculous. I got a gold 6 star the other day and won exactly the same. The only difference on mine were the cars, I was actually shocked it didn't land on the pocket change amount. |

Of the new menus, I found the Kei car races great and the VGT ones easy (with the convertible VW one) but there no way in hell I’m placing top three in the other one. I’ll never overtake that many cars in time, can’t think fast enough 🥲

I'm not having much luck with the Gr1 race at the moment either.
The Kei races were fun and I blitzed the VGT race in the Audi e-tron VGT that demolished the field. I lapped the new Suzuki VGT car in every race, I'm not sure that one is worth a million credits, it was so far off the pace.

Gr1 races, I'm using the super formula car, does the trick. Fuel mix 3 on Daytona, 1 on every else with hard tyres.
There's some shenanigans like you only catch the lead car when it pits on the last lap in St Croix, and it reappears in the middle of the track.

Silliest moment of the racing yesterday was when we opened the lobby up as there was only three of us and got a rando come in, the PP was set to 501 to match the stock Yarises we were driving and he seemed very keen to get racing. We wondered if he'd pimped his Mini Cooper and was going to be fast. Um, yeah.
