I shouldn’t be, but am always a bit surprised how games can arrive half boiled like that. You’d think at least one playtester would have piped up with “Belgium but the weather was like a Malaysian monsoon” feedback. Plus, the fucking price of inters. Absolutely dissuades me from trying new cars for races.

Also where are the endurance events? I’ve found a few tracks that have 30 minute races but haven’t seen anything longer

There's 8 endurance races in the Human Comedy missions and one at the 24 hour circuit at Spa was added on Tuesday.

What’s the best way to try a new car without spending 3 million on something that turns out to be an undrivable mess? Miss the days of just pulling out the memory card before experimenting If its GR3 or GR4, you can borrow a car for the daily races. |

This game feels nicer to drive lately, somehow, bit more meat to the feel on a pad. Not sure if it’s my perception or they’ve tweaked the code in the last patch a bit.

Good racing fun and I wasn't last in every race and even got a couple of podiums so that's nice. Also don't call a lobby "Waiting 4 my new graphics card and PS can lick my ß@łłš" like some Yank did or things may happen.

Probably best part of a week left to exploit the ridiculous Tomahawk for easy credits. Still can't believe I managed 5 laps without a penalty on Tokyo Expressway and ended that penalty free run by hitting the pit entrance.
I consoled myself with the 825K at the end.

So I completed the cafe menus. Got second, missing first by one point in the final GT race because I just couldn’t quite overtake enough cars on Green Hell, despite restarting a few times, ah well.
Cannot believe how shit the rally is in this and that PD continue to try to include it. Did the whole start finish straight of Fisherman’s Ranch, the car perpendicular, with my headlights rubbing on the floor after slightly catching a bump.
The ridiculous thing is that the rally cars are huge fun to hoon around on tarmac, just stick to that you twats!
Anyway, WTF do I do now???

I'd crack on with the high level circuit events that should be left over on the map. Some cracking 10-15 lap races to do in there with scaled fuel/tyre wear.

A little Nitro was born on Sunday 4 weeks early and unfortunately she might have an infection so they can't come home just yet. Other than that doing well.

After the cafe I concentrated on the Missions and Licenses as they give you a car for bronze and another for gold. To earn money I did the Circuit Experiences. Some of these give 1-2 million credits if you can gold all sectors, Nordschleife (sp?) gives you 6 million if you gold all of them but fuck that, I like to enjoy racing Pick the tracks you're already familiar with first and go for the golds. |

Well I've finally done it. Gold in all sectors of the Nordschleife and a gold time on the full lap. A full second and a bit under the gold time.
New born and mum are still in hospital but we are hopeful that come tomorrow they can both be discharged from the place! Scary times, I can just about look after myself.
