I've been trying to do the 30 laps mission and it's damn near impossible when it starts to piss down. I guess I need to drop down to a shitter PP car and stick intermediates on?

I've been trying to do the 30 laps mission and it's damn near impossible when it starts to piss down. I guess I need to drop down to a shitter PP car and stick intermediates on? Is that Tskuba? I won that on the last lap, on hard tyres by only doing one fuel stop on lap 15/16. All the AI cars stop twice, so I made up the missing 30 seconds behind the lead car by not pitting as often. |

Think iirc you can only use sports tyres. Anyway, I used the Toyota 86 Gr.B Rally Car, think I just took the turbo off and it was pretty straightforward. |

Some great races last night. That rain was a real struggle at times (especially on Sports tires) but the last couple of laps when it started drying out were great.
Highlight of the night was the GR Yaris races though. A ridiculously fun drive, especially on some of the sweeping corners. For years I have had a strong loathing of them, due to the pink Yaris I was forced to race in GT3, but what a car.

Who designed this games UI? I counted last night, it took over 17 button presses to get from finishing one race, to get to the next one. To simply get off the post race reward screen takes far more than could possibly imagine>

Seems my patience with the patch and circuit experience worked out. I had a few tracks in which I'd got gold for the sectors already and then just needed to do the full lap for each. From 2.5 million yesterday evening to just over 7.5 tonight.

It's nuts that there no actual reward for going up a collector level - if collecting card is the meta game, why not reward it?
Reading the online manual, it says that in addition to roulette tickets, you can win car and money tickets.

In the lower levels I was getting cars almost every level, but I don't think I've got anything since level 25+.
Probably payback for winning a Zonda once on a ticket.

Those new 1 hour events are decent. Managed to hang on and pull off a 0-stop strategy on hard tyres and flicking between 4-6 fuel mix to win with Solis charging back at me 5 seconds a lap faster at the end.
