I liked those. A nice step change from the usual.
Daytona requires concentration to maintain a line. There’s quite a few strategies actually with slipstreaming.
I’ve actually not enjoyed the menu items a little after those; the Porsche ones. One of my favourite cars, awful traction and handling.

Quite probably the funniest thing I've seen in GT7 so far, putting nitros in an old Mini is certainly possible, using it when you've got comfort tyres on may be a little silly.

I'd love to have seen what damage it would have done if they model it for kicking in the nitros. Realistically your front tyres would surely have popped.

Anyone tempted by a G29 for GT7 should get it from Argos www.argos.co.uk/product/8894328 , it's 200 quid there like Amazon but you can chuck a free copy of GT7 in the basket too and get a digital copy of ACC on this website argosgamingwheeloffer.com/Obviously if you've already got GT7 and ACC I'm sure you could sell them on to make it even cheaper. |

You get a semi circle dial like a fuel gauge that depletes as you hold down the boost button. You can also set the output in the car setup so you could for example drop it to 30% output if you were doing a long race and it would be less powerful but would last longer. If that makes sense? |

Bloody Ferrari menu book! Won the underpowered POS that is the 308 GTB '75 in the previous menu so had that to collect the other two. Shoved some racing softs on and that was it as I didn't want to spend money on it really as I doubt I'll ever drive it much. The two remaining races? Couldn't get close to a podium let alone winning it, kept trying and trying no dice. Decided fuck it I'm not pimping this bloody thing, bought a used 458 Italia for 240K, put racing slicks on.
Not only did I win the race at Maggiore, I lapped two cars while doing it. Menu completed.

My G29 arrived last night and managed to get an hour with it.
A good test was the Interlagos Gr.3 daily event as I already had a fast lap time on that from a couple of nights ago. Took a few laps to get into the hang of it, often being a 1.5-2 seconds slower, then managed to get a lap only 0.02 seconds slower.
Then entered the race and it was a different story. Managed one great lap, one OK lap, but spun out badly twice and had poor laptimes on the other three. The last time I did it on a pad I went from 5th to 2nd during the race and didn't spin out once (or hit anything/anyone).
Obviously need a lot more time to adjust but it seems to be when I am driving well, I'm better with the wheel, but as soon as something goes wrong (mainly the backend) I am better with a pad.
Of course, it's a LOT more immersive with the wheel and I would rather have more fun when it's going well than get a slightly higher final position. It's also great having such simple access to the MFD which will come in handy on races where fuel and tires come into play.

Yeah i'm pretty convinced pad control always has a little bit of countersteer on regardless of whether you've set it to off or not. There's a tangible difference between trying to save a spin on a pad and a wheel. Unless i'm just shit with the T300. But it obviously can't be that.

Bug update announced for next month and 1 mil free credits for the outage last week. Not much considering you can earn that in a couple of hours and the game was down for a day and a half but it's something at least. Increase rewards in the events in the latter half of the World Circuits by approximately 100% on average. Addition of high rewards for clearing the Circuit Experience in all Gold/All Bronze results. Increase of rewards in Online Races. Include a total of eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions. These will also have higher reward settings. Increase the upper limit of non-paid credits in player wallets from 20M Cr. to 100M Cr. Increase the quantity of Used and Legend cars on offer at any given time. Beyond this there will be a few additional patches deployed between now and the end of April which will add new cars and tracks and make some other fixes. And coming in the future... Increase the payout value of limited time rewards as we develop as a live service. Further World Circuit event additions. Addition of Endurance Races to Missions including 24-hour races. Addition of Online Time Trials and awarding of rewards according to the player’s difference with the top ranked time. Sort of - artificially increasing the grind after reviews have dropped as well as making it 'always on' when it really doesn't need it.

The always on thing is some kind of anti cheat thing they've got on apparently. A shit solution but nothing sinister.
And I still don't think the changing of the credits is anything major. Especially when it's came with a change to the roulette awards. It's certainly not enough of a change to make the internet collectively wet it's pants like it has.
