I remember similar problems when GT Sport first came out. Ridiculous that they haven't brought in some kind of offline save which updates when the servers are back on.

Having just dropped money on a wheel and GT7... fool on me. Although I did end up playing some F1 and WRC 9 last night which was literally impossible on the wheel.

WRC9 is shit with the wheel. Dirt Rally 2 is amazing though.

I'll laugh if there nerfing of reward credits for races has screwed up there game. Laughing but crying. If this keeps up till the end of the day, I'm going to ask for a refund. Probably won't get anywhere but got to let Sony know this not acceptable.

Wonder what they'll gift us as an apology... Probably 500 credits or a free roulette (same thing really)
Is there an easy way to get a refund (I'm guessing no considering it's Sony!). Really can't be bothered talking to someone and they're "currently closed for email enquiries".

You have up to 14 days for digital purchases but whether they'd class servers being down as the game being faulty is up for debate.
"After purchasing this type of content through PlayStation Store, you have 14 days from purchase to request a refund. If you have started to download or stream the purchased content, you will not be eligible for a refund unless the content is faulty."

In a few hours uptime since launch will be <90%. Not sure you'll find many server providers telling you that's a level they wouldn't consider faulty.

It's strange what you can do offline in arcade, you can do races in rental cars only but in time trial you can switch to your own with your upgrades. I've now discovered my Lancer as it currently is will top out at 165 on Daytona. Weirdly it logged the miles driven, be interesting if they still count when/if the servers come back up today. Replays can also be saved and photo mode works too.

He wants a game where players don't have to grind events yet reduces the prize money in the vast majority of them so the exact opposite occurs and you need to grind even more. He's on a different planet...
And no mention of some free credit by way of an apology...
