Gran Turismo 7 PSN ID's on front page

It looks like I can fit a Playseat on my living room rug, so I'm half way there.

I'm leaning towards playing it safe with a Logitech G29. They sound decent for a first wheel. I could get it off Amazon, I've got prime so I could be up and running for the weekend, it's also on offer (£237).

I'm having one last nagging doubt, should I consider going crazy with a Fanatec? It sounds like they're "the best" and it looks like they are also XBox ready which is handy but I've never used a wheel before, I might not get on with it and will have wasted a lot of money (although it wouldn't be the first time!). It would also take longer to get here and there's possible import fees.

The G29 seems the sensible option? Any wheel masters care to comment?

The only car I've got in a spin is a Mazda Roadster Touring Car but as I've already pimped the shit out of the regular version I had already it's not such a big win. My regular one gave mcgeeza a decent race until we ran out of time last night.

Dirt tyres hopefully back where they should be on licenses etc.

Also I messing on with the FFB settings today. Most of the recommended settings tell you to turn sensitivity as it just adds dead weight to the wheel but I'm not sure that's right. If anything it seems to add more detail to the curb effects etc. I've actually got it on the highest setting now and it feels great. Might be worth giving it a go.

I had the T300 on 6 and 6 and I read that a few websites saying 4 and 2 were better because too high and you get 'clipping' (no more detail past a certain point as your wheel is already reaching 100% FFB),  but it seemed to lose a lot of feel when I did that. I dunno. I think it's one of those things where there is no right answer. You just have to choose what feels best for you.

Hopefully. Seems I’ve been hit by the new car bug. Every time an event offers me a new car it crashes to desktop. I can’t complete the trial mountain cup because of it and progress my cafe menus

Maybe at some point they'll get someone who has a clue to adjust race rewards and completely ditch the low value coin stacks in roulette? Roulette constantly paying out shit that's worth less than some quick arcade race is daft.

Yeah the grind doesn't feel outrageous. A 10 lapper will net you near enough 100k if you keep it clean. Anything else is a bonus.

That being said a 500k drop wouldn't not be welcomed. I get nothing but shit.
