Anyone know what the question cut from the start of this clip actually was? Obviously he has form for being an asshole to journalists but hypothetically there are questions to which that reaction would be justified. Just seems suspiciously edited to get the reaction and skip the provocation, if there was one. Asked why there was no intensity at the end. Heavy metal? more like soft rock

Just catching up on the highlights on that match, in both vids I've watched (BBC and the official FA one on youtube) the different commentators not only failed to capture the drama in that moment, but they sound almost disappointed when Diallo scored... I mean listen to this guy! United have just scored in the dying moments to make it 4-3 against their biggest rivals and knock them out of the cup. Has everyone got such a massive hard-on for Klopp's finale or something?

It was that Danish journalist's fault that Klopp made those terrible substitutions that helped lose the game, we mustn't forget that.

I think the point he is making is obvious and whilst his English is sometimes slightly muddled if anyone is claiming to be having trouble "deciphering" that they probably aren't commenting in good faith I understood it perfectly well but baffled as to why he keeps bringing it up. It was 6 months ago! Every manager could point to occasions where things went against them, but don't continually bring it up, esp after a last minute winner against big rivals to reach semi finals. It's just weird. I've honestly not heard him bring it up prior to this time.

I think that's because it's recorded over the top after the event. Martin Tyler used to do all of Arsenal's end of season videos and were exactly the same as this.

We will draw to Coventry after extra time now and be knocked out on penalties. City/Coventry final handing it them on a plate.

Full bully mode from Klopp there eh. ‘I am more physically imposing than you so STFU’ basically, if I’ve read that right.
No problem at all with blunt responses to dumb, provocative or bad faith questions like, Lord knows Sky are horrific to United with it but don’t bring in an unspoken threat of physical altercation.

Man Utd are very lucky that Klopp fielded such a weak starting 11 with all those youngsters and so little experience in it

That Sterling free kick was beautiful, but he got abosulte dogs abuse all game yesterday from the Chelsea fans.
Apart from Mainoo and Garnacho, the rest of Utd squad is painfully average and why they so passive in games, City/Arsenal probably would've mullered them yesterday.

Why is Henderson in the England squad ahead of Mainoo?

I can understand why, I just don't like those reasons. He's prioritising experience over form, ability and tactics.

I'm fine with it. Mainoo needs a rest in the summer.

Yeah leave Mainoo alone please, let him have a bit of experience in the u21 and join the full squad in a year or so if he is up to it.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68596761Top, top behaviour. I find it hard to imagine the stress and frustration that you feel as a manager, added to that you then get probing questions immediately afterwards trying to illicit a response, but I like to think I'd get some professional help if I regularly reacted in this way.

If I could be arsed.. I would go through all the Phil articles, where he declares this is the new era for United.

It's not just phil, it's just easy clicks for any media. Praise United, Denounce United in an endless cycle to generate endless clicks.

It must make a writers job pretty easy when there are only two permissible takes on United this season and you just pull either off the shelf depending on whether it was a win or loss.
