As up and down and mainly shit as our season has been, that was special. What a game.

Why is it a booking for taking off a shirt? If I squint, I can kind of see why it was implemented way back when, but in the modern day when they’re all wearing undershirts anyway…why? It’s such a miserable killjoy thing to do

It’s such a miserable killjoy thing to do I always presumed it was to limit the opportunity to display messages that FIFA might not approve of.

The sponsors getting annoyed their logo not being shown.

What a game. I hate that he gets a yellow for that. I know technically he should but still… shit yeah. It's such a bollocks rule.

Corporate bullshit basically. But I proper enjoyed that game. I wish United brought that attitude to every game

I thought it was more for fan incitement etc.
Anyway, that whole tie has been quite enlightening. As an old fuck who grew up in the 80s. I absolutely loathed Liverpool. Dull cunts who won it all. It was absolutely no fun as an Arsenal fan in the early and mid-eighties. And then it was lots of fun and then came the big Arsenal vs Man Utd battles of the the 90s and 2000s. But I think when push comes to shove, I hate Liverpool more. I think it's less about Liverpool and more the media tbh. It's just fucking nauseating. (Yes. This is all about me etc).

I wish United brought that attitude to every game The extra time attitude presumably? They were absolute passengers in the second half.

The shirt thing was always claimed to be because of time wasted getting it back on, but yeah, it's the sponsors isn't it.

And on Dougs point - in the 80s, besides my own team, I supported whoever United played that week even though I was well fed up of Liverpool.
Today though I was definately supporting United.

I'll totally agree, first half really good, second half looked defeated, extra time they went for it. I just wish that every game they could string together a consistent ethos. This is the frustration of United, there is a good team in there, they just need to show it over 90 minutes.

Seemed like the players decided to play once Ten Hag scrapped any semblance of tactics and allowed them to just do whatever they wanted. Not sure who that reflects more badly on tbh. Made for an enjoyable end to end extra time though.

Not sure what happened to Klopp kids. He brought a load on and they all looked dead on arrival.

Reminder, that was a match played on the 3rd September. It's so funny he keeps bringing it up.

Think he's just trying to bring up moments that have gone against us and in his mind disrupted a run of form.
as he's Dutch his English is good but the worst I've known as the Dutch are normally immaculate, so his points get a bit muddled.
Compare to people like Pep, Klopp and Arteta who can really get their points across, despite not being native English speakers.

I think the point he is making is obvious and whilst his English is sometimes slightly muddled if anyone is claiming to be having trouble "deciphering" that they probably aren't commenting in good faith

The trouble with Liverpool is that they are too emotional.

Anyone know what the question cut from the start of this clip actually was? Obviously he has form for being an asshole to journalists but hypothetically there are questions to which that reaction would be justified. Just seems suspiciously edited to get the reaction and skip the provocation, if there was one.

It was 6 months ago! Every manager could point to occasions where things went against them, but don't continually bring it up, esp after a last minute winner against big rivals to reach semi finals. It's just weird.
