Why is it a booking for taking off a shirt?

I thought I had squeezed every ounce of joy possible from the game on Sunday. I did not.

Lower league teams losing their financial lifeline because the PL sides think having to play a replay is beneath them when their reserves fail to beat Chesterfield in 90 minutes. Seems about right.

This just hastens the demise of the FA Cup. Pretty gutted about it tbh.

Football just seems to be getting everything wrong at the moment. Forest have just announced season ticket price rises of an average of 24%, with some shocking outliers: if you're 18 or 19, getting the same seat that cost £190 this season will cost £850 next season. Oh and you have to renew before the end of the season or miss out (there is a long waiting list tbf) - when given our league position you quite likely won't know if you'll be getting Premier League or Championship football for your money. Absolute bullshit.

On the plus side, if you do get relegated, you'd be getting more games for that £850, not to mention most of them would be on Saturday at 3 p.m., so it's not all bad.

Not anymore, the the new EFL/Sky deal to replace iFollow basically means that when the likes of Leeds, Saints and Forest are in the EFL they’ll be lucky to get 2 Saturday 3pms a season.

There should be such a thing as honouring traditions. FA Cup should be, in principle, the two best teams of the tournament closing out the season. Don't like this change at all. And yes fixture congestion is a thing to consider with regards to replays, but I think this does more damage to lower league clubs than good so might not be worth it in the end

I hope a kind of in form Chelsea can beat a demoralised city this weekend. Let’s hope the football karma gods are on it…
Can’t believe Chelsea are the good guys, that’s how far football has fallen.

I've got tickets to see us play Coventry. Hopefully a rare good performance from us this season.
